Its simialr to David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, cast of Friends, Frasier (etc, etc). I think the problem with most actors in long successful TV shows is they end up being typecasted by execs/producers/directors and rarely used in future, or different roles. Same for most of the cast of Lost, Evangelina Lilly got lucky with Marvel giving her a go. lol
@@BGRUBBIN His accent is a perfectly normal English accent; he is from East London. I'm guessing from your comment and your username that you are American, right? Which particular words are you having trouble understanding? I would be happy to translate them for you, although if you can't understand them, I guess you won't be able to tell me.
@@BGRUBBIN I'm not saying that nobody makes fun of him, of course they do! We Brits make fun of everybody. I'm just saying that he is perfectly capable of making himself understood, except to perhaps you Americans.
“I am literally a contemporary of yours”. Amazing how David Mitchell nearly salvaged this horrible interview
I love that Robert and David are two awkward people that connect really well together
As an American I recently discovered Peepshow, Mitchell & Webb. Good show(s) U.K.
As an American I thought ''Anton Deck'' was one person and didn't know they were two separate, sort of flimsy tv people.
Just a deck, made of flimsy antin
I'm still not sure that they're not.
Anton DuBeke is one person tho
I love their relaxed chemistry
horrible interview
David Mitchell is awesome! They are both funny.
I fell in love with Robert's Flashdance❤
I love seeing Robert here.
Love these guys. Especially David. Hilarious
His rants are epic.
@@ophelias4172 flat earth. Words. Cheese fondue to name a few haha cheers 👍
I'd suggest listening to "David Mitchell's soapbox". All on RUclips. They're brilliant.
Did the interviewer have no questions prepared?
Only Jonathan Ross can make funny people just not work.
He doesn’t listen to his guests, he just can’t wait to hear his own voice again asking the next question.
it's sooo awkward when they start talking about David's love life, especially after reading his autobiography :(
Why?
tell us why
Poor Matthew Foxx he is genuinely a great actor but is under-rated & seems like a nice guy

For anyone who hasnt seen the dance...you need to...
Not the best interviewer for these two.
Lot of negative space on that couch.
Ross is such a knob!
Yes! Thank you!
omg 12 years ago
Mad that David still had a CRT telly in 2010🤔😊
"Rants About Technology"???
Wooden things?
This is a terrible interview. Jonathan comes across as really condescending
Yeah, nah.
It's his accent and his inability to pronounce certain words.

David is still single at this point? What year was this on then? 🤔
They're both so funny, pity the interviewer was a bellend
this is soo old!!
David is happily married now...old episode (nov 2021???)
Recorded 2009
How do you use youtube and not know that is the upload date?
@@Bryce3189 well, i now know. Thank you!
