  • This is my first impressions of the GreenLife ceramic nonstick frying pans or skillets. These are the color soft pink and are 7" and 10". If you're like me, with anything nonstick you have a test. I call mine the "egg test." If the eggs don't stick to the pan...it's a winner in my book! 🍳
I did wait 3 weeks to post this video and have used at least one of these pans everyday. They are still great! I don't expect them to last forever, but I will update here in the description how long they last for me. I wash them on the top rack in the dishwasher. I do prefer to pour a little avocado or olive oil out of the bottle instead of the one I showed in the video too. It works the same, just less mess.
UPDATE end of April.. they aren’t lasting as long as I hoped! The large one has a couple scratches and I’ve only used silicone utensils. There is a light burn spot in the pan and it had oil! Just not the best pans long term! They were decent for a couple months, but that’s it!
If you try these pans (or any other brand of ceramic nonstick) let me know your thoughts in the comments below! 😊

We've had 3 sets of these. First set was about 7 years ago, from Walmart. They are about $80 for the set with lifetime warranty. When the scratches appear, after about 2.5 years, we buy another new set, which is identical so far, and return the old set to the store within 30 days. We simply say we want a refund, with receipt. Boom...free and easy lifetime warranty exchange.
I could probably go 10 years without scratching them, but my kids and wife are not gentle enough and tend to stack dirty dishes on them, scratching them while dirty. Sometimes while cleaning. The rubber handles will melt...you have to keep them from flame.
We prefer to use bamboo utensils, and plastic minimally. We don't like plastic anything, but certain serving and cooking utensils have to be plastic.
We prefer to have a white colored cooking surface because it's easiest to visually see what needs to be cleaned, and how items cook in it. Most nonstick pans are black, grey, or other dark colors...we don't think they are as good.
If these ever go out of business, we'll simply stick to our stainless and cast iron sets that we also use. We don't really trust any nonstick surface products, because their profits make them lie, sooner or later.

These are great, we have used theme with great success, these work better than the much more expensive high-end ceramic pans that we have used for decades.
Please follow their instructions, which are the same as for all ceramic pans:
Never use any cooking spay on any ceramic pan ever (the ceramic surface gets incredibly hot and cooking sprays heat up so quickly that they turn into a sticky gooey varnish that hardens when the pan cools off, so it first is stuck then its irremovable, so you turn a non-stick pan into a sticky pan. Don't do it (you might get away with it a few times but it will catch up with you eventually).
Use utensils rated for ceramic pans (regardless of manufacturer), they are are the same tools rated for use with teflon pans, so they include silicone and plastic utensils, they will leave the surface of your pans in like-new condition.
We never wash them in the dishwasher, some dishwashing soaps have particle in them intended to be an abrasive that scrubs your plates (yes our plates are all scratched up so we have seen that happen) so you don't want your smooth ceramic coating to be scrubbed Into roughness (which will then make it lose its slick non-stick surface)
We hand wash them and they are so slick that it is effortless to wash, most stuff falls off when we rinse it with plain water, one drop of dish soap and they then clean up instantly.
We always use a little bit of oil or butter and everything cooks perfectly, slides around effortlessly (so they don't stick) and cook a little faster because the thick aluminum walls actually are an advantage.
These pans heat up much faster (almost instantly) so we get to cooking quickly and get excellent results. No more waiting 15 to 20 minutes for cast iron or thick 5-layer steel pans to heat up, these heat up in a moment or two and then you are cooking.
They are also lightweight, very lightweight, so they are easy to handle, this make it more convenient, you don't get exhausted after cooking a complete meal for the family, especially important for anyone with sore wrists (carpal tunnel, etc.), tendonitis, tennis elbow, etc. and seniors who are tired of lifting ridiculously heavy pots and pans. These pans are fantastic.
This same company also sells color coordinated utensils that match the color of the pans, yes, we purchased them because they were a great price and are gentle on the ceramic surface. The tools are lightweight and yet they continue to be far sturdier than they look so we have been using these attractive color-coordinated, safe for non-stick surfaces, tools.
Overall they are the best ceramic cookware we have ever used and they are extremely economically priced,
We recommend getting the complete set installed of one or two pans at a time because they are even more economically priced that way.
We used some silicone trivets that we fond here on Amazon so we can stay then up to save storage space and prevent scratching of the slick ceramic interior, it works very well and they all look like new after all this use.

@@lauren.homeschool Plastic, wooden and silicone utensils are recommended for ceramic cookware. 😊💕 Also, no cooking spray. Just oil or butter is recommended with these.
