Just had to say, that was the perfect way to demo a compressor pedal, and you are the only person I’ve ever seen do it. Starting by maxing out the controls to show the extreme compression, then demonstrating the blend to show the difference from dry to fully compressed, then the attack while fully compressed, so you really hear the difference that control makes, then everything else from there, gradually going more subtle and transparent. So many other demos, people just adjust knobs almost randomly, and they never max the compression to its fullest. Superb!
Fantastic playing. So happy to see a compressor that has ALL the settings I want instead of hem hawing about well I can do with out a blend knob or man this is great but the attack is too slow yadda yadda. Thanks for letting us know this exists!
The pedal sounds fantastic. But I gotta say, after hearing this, Mike Hermans is one of if not the best electric guitarist in the world today. Blows my mind every time!! None finer.
Your demos are always excellent. Thank you for all that you do. However, the world wants to know... what does your voice sound like? ;) Maybe one day you will surprise us with a sentence or a phrase on mic. Maybe one of your live videos already has it and I missed it! In all seriousness, I really appreciate your work. Thank you!
Can anybody tell me what the difference between the level and the make up gain knob is, as i was under the impression that they were tantamount to the same thing? Great playing as always Mike!
I was wondering about that as well, but I think I understand it now. The level is, of course the final stage of output, and so will not affect anything else within the pedal, but since the makeup gain is earlier in the circuit, it can actually create some drive. You can hear it at 4:41 when the gain is up full and he raises the threshold. It gets some overdrive going.

Many compressor pedals, one Mike to rule them all!
Haha!

Thanks for watching. This covers all the bases for sure! Great sounding Compressor- feels good and natural
I live for Mike Herman absolutely brilliant playing and I'm American so💁♀️
Thanks so much!
Love your playing as always. Great Rendition, John Denver would be pleased.
Thanks so much for watching!
Really dig the graphics on this pedal😎👍
Nice tool to boot😉
😎👍❤🖖
The graphics are killer!
I like the graphics here as well plus on my Julia chorus. Old Blood Noise Endeavors gets first prize on graphics tho…

Jam has some cool graphics, however...their packaging is really thoughtful.

I’m curious about that as well, even after watching Walrus Audio’s videos.

I live for compressor pedals
This is a good one!
Open riff (and color of “strat”) reminded me of Dire Straits.
Ha, got there with the Knopfler by 2:00 with some Gilmour for good measure. Hilariously good. These are all intentional Easter eggs, right?
@@rasm0225 thanks for watching! Definitely intentional!
