I am a diesel fan (specially an EMD one) and is always a pleasure to hear EMD engines roaring all around the world. I agree with you that the EMD engine sounds are the best engine sounds in the world. And a lot of countries use locomotives that have EMD engines. I live in Romania. Even here we have a locomotive that has a GM- EMD engine. This one: www.railfaneurope.net/pix/ro/diesel/63/1358/P2150074.jpg BUt here, and generally in Europe, electric locomotives are more popular than diesel ones. And I hate that. I hate electric locomotives. In my opinion they are only washing machines that use tree branches to power themselves from the overhead wires. A true locomotive should be diesel. I just hate electric locomotives and electrified railways....maybe I don't belong here in Europe and a I should have been born in North America!
@@sorindncs same here my friend, im not gonna say i fully hate them but i just dont like the electrification of trains, especially the freight ones, im fine with passenger trains being electric as they are overall more comfortable and smoother, but their tractive effort is nothing compared to diesel locomotives
The livery is spectacular.If there is one thing I love about EMD is the sound of engines and less smoke.We(Botswana Railways) have 20 GT22LC-2 and they are the main hauling power.Each operates at 2250HP(2 at 2300HP) and many are turning 30years now
in Argentine we have a lot of Gt 22 with 40 years old,,ans still operating for freight,,the adventage is that in USA are spare parts huge,,like valves ,pistons ,rings,crankshafts,,ant the electronic devices,,,all the rest are rapaired here.and they wil operate a lot of years more.the GT 22 is the best locomotive in Argentine,far.

I didn't read the description, just started watching, so I assumed it was filmed in Israel. But when I saw some of the people I thought, mmm they don't look like Israelis, more like Slavs. I was right.
