It’s been a while since me and my family go to Genting, I’m pretty sure it’s 2015 if I’m not mistaken, this place is literally my childhood heaven and so much have change 😊 Hope to visit the place again with my family if we have the chance 😄
As someone who often travels to Genting, I look forward to all the new developments and attractions. Genting used to be known for its casino but i think now it offers more than that. Cable car facility has improved, parking has improved.
To be honest Genting's main attraction isn't it's natural beauty, although it plays a part in attracting visitors. There are many other much more beautiful highlands u can go to like cameron highlands, Fraser's hill, janda baik, Berjaya Hills, Maxwell hill in taiping. Genting's main highlight used to be the casino and theme park. But now since there are more attractions and hotels there, it is more accessible to non-gamblimg visitors who go there for the entertainment and also the cold weather. That's why there are more residential projects to cater for those who want to live in the cold weather of the highlands.

betul takut tengok bangunan yg tengah buat tu betul2 cerun pinggir gunung, dengan tiang yg sangat kecik bagunan besar beban berat sangat aku tengok seram sangat.
Seram juga kadang buat bangunan di atas bukitt... Kalau hujan tu bahaya dan juga gegaran (maaf tak minta) andai ada gempar sedikit... Harap tiada apa² lah.. huhu

I really not happy when I seen the pretty rainforrest too much devoleped and destroy the ecological environment. Actually it's a good place for enjoy natural places and recreation. But now look no more green there. I don't know our gov no care about this matter?
Definitely being overdeveloped for the sake making tonnes of money by the developers and contractors...soon the temp would not be cooling as the early years huhu

To be honest, i really love the old genting indoor theme park. Yes the ride and the shopping area is not as exciting, but its way better than now.

The old genting is disgusting though, cigarette and pee smell everywhere. Toilets had no toilet paper and carparks reeked of pee.
