      E O Wilson? American biologist, naturalist, writer. Often referred to as "The New Darwin".

      @@annadibath The 'E' stands for Edward. Wow it looks as though he's had a hand in 241 books. There's one from 1988 available as a pdf for free that he wrote called 'Biodiversity'. In it: "By the end of this century [year 2000], our planet could lose anywhere from 20 to 50% of its species"
