Agree. I really thought the box would be really a special value due to the price and all the hype.

This was my first time buying the Jolly Box. I am real happy with what was in it. I was able to buy the finishing kit before it sold out. Can’t wait til you start making the quilt Videos, then we can make the quilt together. I real enjoy watching your unboxing videos, even though I already knew what was in it. Thanks for the unboxing! Good news is if you cut the fat quarter like is pictured in the pattern for the quilt you can use the leftovers for the pot holders

I like that first pattern with the candy canes
This was my first box and I enjoyed it ! I hope they make more finishing kits ! I used scraps from other projects to make the potholders - wasn’t too excited about the potholders but they were my first attempt to quilt as you go so it was helpful
I haven’t tried that either yes so I may do the same
I just can’t see investing time and materials into pot holders which I can buy at the dollar store. Not to offend anyone but I just cant see it

Andrea, I love your unboxing and that you read the pamphlet. I never read it I’m just going through the stuff in the box 😂. I liked the items in my box except the potholders. Maybe I’ll have to make some to see if I like making potholders 😮.

The fabric and quilt as you go are great and the value is there BUT the notions were eh, kind of like if my husband wrapped up a new toaster and put it under the tree….lol.

I discovered g😊ray works with a lot of different colors for quilting. I ran out of blue...used gray instead. It was perfect.

I got mine as well today!The finishing kits and the blue background denim is sold out at FQS! 😐😢 if we were to suggest, maybe we should have an option to buy/reserve the finishing kit/background fabric at the same time we order the boxes. Like an add on. But the fabric is beautiful as well as the rest of the goodies!

My box arrived yesterday. I was waiting for your unboxing. The finishing kit is sold out but I entered my email address to be notified when more in stock…although I probably could pull from my stash. I definitely do not need any more hand sewing needles or pins 😂. Cute fat quarter bundle and pot holder kit and can always use thread. Look forward to a Sew With Me.

The fabric are large scale so I might use a “present” type pattern instead- I didnt think it was that appropriate for candy canes?

I was disappointed in the box. I always feel that FQS is “top of the line” with all that they do, but this box just seems very ordinary, nothing special, especially for the price. I don’t usually say anything negative but I truly was disappointed. So sad. 😢

November and the Jolly Box were huge disappointments. I sold mine within 30 minutes of opening it.

Glad you and others got there’s. Mine has been sitting at the airport since November 25 and has not moved. I’m afraid it’s lost😢 I contacted them and said they couldn’t do anything till 14’days after date shipped. I hope they have extra one to send me or else I’m getting a refund. Go figure mine would be the box to get lost.

Try the post office hot line. They can put a ticket in and that generally gets a push to move the package along but be warned, at this time of year, be prepared to be on hold a while. But worth it. ❤
