I have used this technology at my local golf shop as they have this installed in their simulators and the Information u get is eye opening and it’s great if u want to improve your game, also I played a round of virtual golf at St. Andrews old course and the graphics is second to none and a lot better than the big swing simulator they have had previously
I hear that the Bushnell Pro Launch Monitor if also very good and at $ 3000 with a lot of upgrades for software if you want to go that route...A head to head would be Great Joel....
I have it and it’s terrific. The Bushnell Launch Pro IS the GC3. The difference is you don’t get the simulator (and some data points) included, you have to purchase a yearly subscription package to get those.
It's radar based, most radar units are are fairly close anyway in distances. I have 2 a PRGR £1899, but also have a R10 (£500) that does mostly everything a £20K does. Ideal for a PGA coach but good flight scope do the same at £2000.
What I’ve read and experienced with cheaper launch monitors is lack of accuracy for distances in the top end of the bag. I first and foremost want to know my distances and then worry about the other numbers later.
This market will depress a lot of people once they become cheap enough for everyone to buy. All of the "oh I hit it usually about uhh 300" guys will realize that they have been lying to their friends and family lol.
My driving range has a built in launch monitor in each bay. Pay an extra 3& and i get all the info i need. Plus i can play virtual golf courses. For &4000 i think ill give it a miss.

The radar has nothing to do with graphics on screen. The computer running the software dictates that.
10 feet from the ball...that's more than the other prosumer radars. Most driving ranges in US don't have 10 feet behind the hitting area either.
That’s true most with mats usually have about 4-5 feet grass ranges you normally have about 6 10 feet is stupid
The 10ft behind the golfer is a deal breaker for my set up. Other than that, it's good to see another quality launch monitor on the market.

can you do a comparison video with trackman, so we can understand how accurate it is? Looks like a good bit of kit.

R10 club data is wildly inaccurate

Mevo plus 💯
Wow - £4000 - you'd want to be keen! I'd love to HIRE one for a week... Possible business idea ?

$4,000 = a lot of lessons.
It equals 50-80 lessons from my pro but that includes the discount that I get I pay $50 he normally charges $80
£4000 or $4000 ????
The answer is yes. In the UK if I’m not mistaken the taxes are already added in.
Friend just got one it’s a piece of shit
What are the issues?
