I always wonder about the people who lived in or owned these abandoned houses and businesses. What were they thinking or what happened to them, and why are these places just left to be forgotten. Thank you for the explore.
The green Daf is not an M reg 95 . It is a 2004 reg Daf MV04LXZ . Really did enjoy this video , am well shocked that all of that stuff is still there .Looking forward to next video Colin
Very cool place. Treasure all around. I could see turned ankles and lacerations hiding everywhere though. Glad you came through unscathed. Great to see Nathan. I found his Urbex channel through yours a while ago and I really miss it. The two of you having dueling videos of shared explores was really wonderful to watch. It was very interesting what each of you would dwell on as opposed to the other. Keep up the good work.
A lot of money there for sure Colin. Not sure why its abandoned but most of that stuff has been there donkey's years. Nice to see Nathan too. All the best lads 🤜🤛 ☕👍
Hi Colin & Nathan. Hope your doing good. I loved that video. Seeing all those trucks was pretty cool. I've never seen so many skips in one place. Take care and stay safe.
Hi Colin great video less scary then last weeks just alot more dangerous,at least you both got out unharmed. What a waste all that reusable materials.Being an ex engineer I know there is alot on money still in that scrap yard. That aside really enjoyable video with great commentary as usual with some of your fighting the way through jungle lol! Look forward to next weeks.Take care.😃
Good explore colin for a brief minute I thought this was the one I explored earlier this year and the one you did a few years back. Video is on my channel if you want an update of how it looks now.
Very interesting. I've know about this yard for a while, but thought it was still a working scrapyard so never got round to stopping off for some photos. Any ideas when it was closed down?
My boss used to have a blue one with the speed limiter removed and on the m5 he would fly past me with an empty 40 ft trailer. I was flat out in the 8wheeler thinking wtf 😳😂
i checked the ford focus, and that looks like it was on the road right up till 2019, only done 74,624 miles but it had an advisory of Vehicle structure is corroded but structural rigidity is not significantly reduced and all suspension components, which was on its last two MOTs, so looks like the MOT tester may have said, i will pass it this time, but it wont go through next year. looks like it did very little miles though in its final years. So that looks like its only been laid up a couple of years.
so at the turn of the century, scrap prices were so low many companies probably collapsed, I scrapped a large van in the year 2000 & got £11 where as today it’ll be about £450 so a tough time for scrap yards…
I pulled about 15 british bikes some from the 1930s in a yard like this about 35 years ago all sorts had to move a lot of scrapby hand to do it Asupermarket sits on the site now
All these old workhorses have a story to tell they had a working life with humans that operated them people still alive and people long gone quiet sad really
AEC Associated equipment company a historic lorry and bus manufacturer. The London route master bus for one. What a waste of scrap and a law should be made to clear these places
I don't think colleen's going to tell you that whoever you are he's not going to exactly tell you the major road it's on is it anyway I watched this on Saturday the 4th of November 23
That place going to emptied soon buy the wrong people as was to easy to find the name of the place and the address as there is alot of moneys worth there im shocked of the mess of that yard as there is many laws on scrap now and have been for years the land wont be no good to toxic to do anything with it cost to much to clean up must be family some where to who ever owned it
Out of curiosity, are these places still owned by someone🤔 if so why are they left this way, why not sell to someone who can make money from it. If no owner why doesn't someone do something with all of this to clean up the area for the environment🤔🙂🍀🇨🇮
The entire yard is probably CONTAMINATED! Lead, oils, etc. I'm glad you guys made it out safe. You probably took showers as soon as you could. PEACE & SAFETY TO ALL.
Nope but I deal in Gold Bullion Sales so I know what Golds worth and what scrap metal is worth and it's a big difference, the title of the video is misleading.
@@SimonHarvey-i4z yes thousands , but it will take thousands in man hours & trucks & equipment to move the stuff, not worth it given steel is about £160 a ton

MOT on the Focus SM52 GRU expired in 2020 so that place can't have been abandoned for more than 3 years
it hasn't
Just accidentally came across your channel and had to subscribe! Brilliant!! Love it when i find a decent uk channel! 🙏💪❤️
Me too👍💪
Junkyard heaven! Really interesting and great to see. I bet you didn't want to leave as we know you love places like this. Thanks for sharing. 👍😁
A lot of money there for sure Colin.
Not sure why its abandoned but most of that stuff has been there donkey's years.
Nice to see Nathan too.
All the best lads 🤜🤛
☕👍
Great video. I think the first engine you shown was a gardener 180. Great to see all those old lorries .brings back many memories.
Keep up the good work Colin
Great find Colin. Wow, so much stuff. I'm wondering why it closed. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Lorry at 3:59 is an AEC. Possibly a Mammoth Major MK V. Its grille can be seen to the right.
Hi Colin & Nathan. Hope your doing good.
I loved that video. Seeing all those trucks was pretty cool. I've never seen so many skips in one place.
Take care and stay safe.
Great video Colin, looked an amazing place, great find👌👍
Saturday night is bearded explorer night. Love the video discoveries Colin. Always a fascinating watch.
It’s crazy how much stuff there is left here 😮another awesome vid 😊🎉

Excellent explore colin shame there wasn't more cars cheers 🥂
I reckon the covered-up mobility scooter at 9:33 could be a clue to the reason for the closure of the site - the owner's advanced age.
Good explore there Colin wonder if there's cars there too waiting to be uncovered ...cool though ...👍
Great video again Colin.
The land has been sold from what i found out, one of my work colleagues was watching it with me and recognised the trucks,
Good one Colin so much value in this place shocking how these places are left untouched thanks for sharing
Love your content! Be safe in the explorations!
Good explore colin for a brief minute I thought this was the one I explored earlier this year and the one you did a few years back. Video is on my channel if you want an update of how it looks now.
What a fabulous place! 😊
Another great Video, Colin. Some real discoveries, there. Keep up the great work.
Good explore Colin.

That be the one nxt to the old railway signal post
it will be ok having a look but don't get caught in there they are not nice people@@lazydays-bw4kh
The blue ERF truck was last logged in 2012. So those vehicles havent been abandoned for long
Yes , only 10 years , fuckin hell
My boss used to have a blue one with the speed limiter removed and on the m5 he would fly past me with an empty 40 ft trailer. I was flat out in the 8wheeler thinking wtf 😳😂
What a cool place lots of money in they
Explore safe bud another great episode nice one e
It wasn’t in Portsmouth where the Lad got crushed it was Huntley’s scrapyard off of Portsmouth road Southampton, Ashley crescent
Location known Colin been known for a very long time
Nice video…. Although I don’t know much about these heavy duty trucks. I like the Turbo charged ones yea…. Nice footage my bearded friend.👍👍👏👏😎
ALL trucks are turbo charged or they wouldn’t move
7:47 That is an 04 plate as it is on the post 2001 type of registration.
Cool scrapyard, I managed to find this place but too far for me.
Excavator in trees looks like a hy Mac
Hi colin I know where this one is 🤫 good vid 👍🏻it's sad that it's been left to rott loads of reusable stuff in there 😮
Love your videos but your camera has very low fps, its looks like 25fps max, any plans to change it? :)
The green one is 2004 not m reg 94 👍
i checked the ford focus, and that looks like it was on the road right up till 2019, only done 74,624 miles but it had an advisory of Vehicle structure is corroded but structural rigidity is not significantly reduced and all suspension components, which was on its last two MOTs, so looks like the MOT tester may have said, i will pass it this time, but it wont go through next year. looks like it did very little miles though in its final years. Love a Bedford truck 😊
The remains of the blue lorry at 2:33 is a Bedford J type.
I know where you are, I didn’t know they had that much there
I pulled about 15 british bikes some from the 1930s in a yard like this about 35 years ago all sorts had to move a lot of scrapby hand to do it Asupermarket sits on the site now
I'd be in here for hours 😂 proppa in my element
Wanna know the location 👀😂 I can tell you 😂
Plum
Path's used, probably despairing relative, maybe chainsaw proof trousers & jacket for brambles, sharp rust & woofs ya nutta
can't be too long ago for that focus. the last mot ran out 2020
Nice place, should be cleaned up though because its worth a lot also
Looks like it was a metal reclamation yard.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Abandoned?! Perfect, no chance for poor cars to be destroyed
All these old workhorses have a story to tell they had a working life with humans that operated them people still alive and people long gone quiet sad really
Such a shame about that Mk1 Focus, they are quite desirable these days.
I was thinking the same thing myself looked possibly salvagable strange colin not checking the inside or under the bonnetmight have been worth it
AEC Associated equipment company a historic lorry and bus manufacturer.
The London route master bus for one.
What a waste of scrap and a law should be made to clear these places
Might have been gardener 6 pot in coach, two 3 Potts together
That’s mad.
The Ford focus mot ran out on 21st January 2020 so the place has been abandoned for around 3years which doesn't make sense
Great vid, tell me where it is Col an i'l go halvies with you 😂
I would of took those batteries and charge em all up then re-sell em lol
I don't think colleen's going to tell you that whoever you are he's not going to exactly tell you the major road it's on is it anyway I watched this on Saturday the 4th of November 23
A27 just before Chichester before they bypass 😂
I won't tell you where I found it, but I found information that it was closed in 2018. Regards Tuomo Finland
The 902 probably still works aswell
What's the major road called?
elephant way because its a trunk road innit😂
A27 Chichester bypass 👍😂
Another AEC lorry at 5:18 the engine is an AEC
Looks like the diesel pump has been removed.
Big batteries like them £25 each
Where are ya exactly got truck can come😂😂😂😂
Is that mains of ewelme Oxfordshire by any chance
Think first lorry was a fibre glass scammel with a 180 Gardner engine PROPER ENGLISH BIT OF KIT THEM GARDNERS
Mot Ran out on focus on 2020 just before Covid so mabey thats why it was abandoned
That place going to emptied soon buy the wrong people as was to easy to find the name of the place and the address as there is alot of moneys worth there im shocked of the mess of that yard as there is many laws on scrap now and have been for years the land wont be no good to toxic to do anything with it cost to much to clean up must be family some where to who ever owned it
Found the location pretty easily, Colin. You have to be more careful when blurring the names 😉 Great place and great video 👍😃
@@Rbarx2x A27 Chichester bypass 👍😂 you’ll see it all clearly on google maps with satellite on as well
Out of curiosity, are these places still owned by someone🤔 if so why are they left this way, why not sell to someone who can make money from it. If no owner why doesn't someone do something with all of this to clean up the area for the environment🤔🙂🍀🇨🇮
Ile be more than happy to clean all that "rubbish " 🤑🤑🤑👍
Yeah mate a lot of rust !😴
Tu filmes trop au sol ,j’ai remarqué ! On a trés peu de panoramique ! Pas intéressant les calandres !i’ faut la cabine du camion ! 😊
How have the jippos not raided that place eh
Probably will now !!
The engine is a aec made by leyland.
Them days A.E.C were a sole brand before they were all merged together...
The entire yard is probably CONTAMINATED! Lead, oils, etc. I'm glad you guys made it out safe. You probably took showers as soon as you could.
PEACE & SAFETY TO ALL.
I pad baby
Is it a gangsters yard or a gypsys yard why hasn’t this yard been looted ethier they have good security or a serious rep
i found the place on google
Dude, you need to mask up and get the heck out of the palace! Save thyself!
Nathan ain't no where as pretty as your female assistant, but get's the job done.
Or maybe the owner died of covid and didn't have any family to leave it to
At Ten pounds an hour it takes too much time to cut the stuff to make a profit, people get tired and loose tooo much money
The batteries are easy money though
I didn’t see any copper or brass you muppet
Do you identify as M or F then as not sure with your hairstyle ? 🤷♂️
Gold Mine!?!?! I just see a pile of scrap metal, and that's all it's worth, certainly not a Gold Mine I'm afraid.
Um do your research thousands of pounds in scrap Metal at this site THOUSANDS
Nope but I deal in Gold Bullion Sales so I know what Golds worth and what scrap metal is worth and it's a big difference, the title of the video is misleading.
@@SimonHarvey-i4z yes thousands , but it will take thousands in man hours & trucks & equipment to move the stuff, not worth it given steel is about £160 a ton
This place got dumped in 2021 couldn’t pay for there land so it got abandoned 😂
