Why can’t I let go of my ego? And recognize that in order to attain the formless Lord I need to give up my ego, lust, greed, attachment, and anger? And recognize that is the real purpose of human life. May the entire world be Khalsa not just the Sikhs.
This man speaks some truth but ultimately isn’t sticking to its teachings and this will eventually dilute Sikhi and maybe it isn’t happening intentionally who knows, it’s true we should not fear death but that’s for those who believe in their one and only creator and who follow the Gurbani or their own religious texts down to the T - if they are doing what’s asked of them then how can they be afraid of death. We are not in any sort of heaven right now nor can any objects on this planet be associated with heaven because this will all perish. Jeevan Mukti can be obtained and that is liberation whilst one is alive in a spiritual and mental sense but there is no physical heaven here. Death of the ego is very important but that’s only for human beings to live in peace with one another and for their soul to hopefully leave the cycle of reincarnation. If heaven was here on earth why would our mission be to merge with Waheguru/God and to leave this cycle of reincarnation? What this man says contradicts Sikhi. In Japji sahib itself it speaks of countless musicians playing instruments constantly singing Waheguru’s Naam, in Japji Sahib it speaks of various heavens. It speaks of Wahegurus Court where all shall be judged. If we are already in Heaven then what are we being judged for after death. We are to then walk between the most narrow of walkways with sharpest blades either side and those who have done well in this life will pass through very quickly and those who haven’t…well I’ll leave that to your imagination. Those who are Sikh and those who are looking into Sikhism, please do your own research, please read the Guru Granth Sahib Ji and don’t listen to guys like this on RUclips because he and they aren’t teaching Sikhism for what it actually says. The Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the final Guru because words are timeless, Gurbani is timeless, truth is truth and it will be the truth no matter what age we live in and this is what we should follow and is what this man should be talking about - not making his own teachings that contradict with Sikhi. Religion is man made. Why can’t judgement day be today? Why do I have to wait till my body dies to go to heaven or hell. Why can’t I do good deeds and find heaven within me?
