    Man I like how you’re different from most sikhs, also recognising the other Bhatts and Saints that are in SGGS, not just prioritising the 10 gurus. Recognising that what was in them, was also in the 10 gurus, that they are equal, and that’s why Guru Arjan Dev ji also accounted their writings. It’s rare these days to see a Sikh preacher whose lens aren’t just limited to just the 10 gurus and other Sikh Punjabs (this comment is not an attack on them, they deserve extreme respect), but also to other figures and examples from other faiths and cultures, to ultimately connect everyone into the all-inclusive truth. Which is what our 10 gurus did too. Thank you Satpal Ji.

      Guru Nanak Dev Ji was the first Guru to publicly appear on the Indian subcontinent as separate from Hindu or Muslim. Before this, the community he belonged to was Gupt (hidden/kept secret, to prevent reprisal and attack from invading Turks and Mongolians (referred to as Mughals and Mongols in those times). Kabir, Shams, Sadruddin, Nanak, and others all remained in Hindu garb to avoid this. Sikhi did not start with Guru Nanak. He was the first to show himself. This knowledge will come if the mind is open and ithiaas is studied; if we can look beyond labels of Hindu, Muslim, and Sikh.
      Guru Nanak Dev Ji grew up in Talwundi - as did these “Pirs.” Pir Shams arrived in Multan in the year 1200. He had 7 children. One being Pir Sadruddin who had 14 children, one of which was Pir SADARDIN. Another being Pir Shamsuddin/Pir Shams II with whom Guru Nanak had spiritual discourse with at Rawalpindi. Pir Shams also elected Pir SADARDIN as leader of this Gupti community known as the Ismailis (North same as Aga Khanis). Pir Sadruddin. Muslims called them Pirs - and Hindus called them Gurus. They were called the “Satpanth.” invading parties had no knowledge of them until the times they had to fight along others following Sikhi. They were born and raised in the same town as Guru Nanak.
      Guru Nanak Dev Ji also met and learned from “Bhagat Kabir,” aka Pir Kabiruddin in Muslim circles, and Guru Kabir in Hindu circles. The extent and vastness of the TRUTH is far deeper than many Sikhsnwosh to venture. Let’s be real. Many “old-school” mentality Sikh families won’t even allow Khashatriya caste brides and grooms (although all Gurus were from this Dharam, and Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj states explicitly his Dharam as such - although we know caste and class do not matter in Sikhi), to marry into our Jatt families.
      The hypocrisy and religious dogma and rituals and judgement is exactly what Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj was trying to eliminate from the minds of us manmukhs who focus too extensively on the external and not nearly an iota on the internal “God” within. The ultimate consciousness is our goal.
      This is attainable for all of us in this lifetime. It is our chance to transcend this cycle of death and rebirth. We should grasp it with both hands and follow in the ways of Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj and the other Gurus (we know of).
      However, taking it back to first principles is always the first step; like the first step of a staircase, we don’t jump 10 steps upwards because we know we’d fail.We start with Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj. And we add to that.
      There is Akaal Purkh in everyone and everything. We are not here to pass judgement, but nor are we hear to be stamped out because of differing religious ideas of Sikhi which, in my most humble opinion have contorted over time. We are meditating ever minute and we don’t even realize it most of the time.
      We need to abandon rituals and do the necessary work to find the peace within. Only then can we be content. Yes, Guru is alive today. Most will say within Guru Granth Sahib Ji, however this is not what Guru Gobind Singh Ji said. They said, the Guru is alive in the combination of the GGSJ AND the Khalsa. But Guru exists in you as well. And Bhai Ji points out the Amrit you may receive from within you and its comparison to the external Amrit you may or may not choose to receive at Gurdwara. But ask yourself, which is the most important for your enlightenment and Mukti? Not that they need be compared as to their value, but we don’t go around saying, “Chal we got our Amrit from Harminder Sahib so we bought our first class ticket to Sach Khand, no need to work on ourselves anymore.”
      I believe Bhai Ji says in another video, that in most every faith “we close our eyes when we pray because we are looking within, rather than without.”
      My humblest apologies for any mistakes
      Pyaarayo.
      Let’s keep our minds open, to the knowledge imparted to us by the spiritual masters. It wasn’t as if no one received enlightenment before Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj came to us. That would be highly unjust, hai na?
      Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa,
      Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh 🙏🏼
      Edit: I have a long video on this (perhaps 30-40 mins) regarding the Gurus and their history, however for the avoidance of conflict with our community, I have been debating whether to publish it at all. Many videos like this in fact. I hardly think it will be well-received, and it is not my intention to create divisions within the Panth, as, unfortunately, we are so divided already 😔🙏🏼

As a student of Advaita, I for first time via this well articulated Satsang experienced the similarities of Guru Nanakji’s (who I revere) wisdom, resonate along with what India’s other great spiritual masters like Ramana Maharishi, Adi Sankara (viveka chudamani). Imagine that happening today when access to information is easily available. It's a fraud sufi-sikhi-taqyia system.

    I believe this is the path Nanak walked. The one that dared to say things like, “let me teach you how to be a better Hindu” etc… learning the message behind all the metaphors. There are so many simple maxims that hold several interpretations, and this will always make a diamond appear as a rock.
    I’ve also washed up on the shore, then lost my grip, but remembered nevertheless…
    I’ve found the inner truth and everything you’re saying is absolutely right.

    The mind is an empty space or blank tape which has recoded material from our past..and is in constant playback. If you fast forward or rewind the same data is played. The mind can't look inside where there is memory error filling all recorded space. Nothing is outside the mind without a subject or object so we are uselessly trying to fight our way out of a wet paper bag. What purpose does it serve except to anxiety and frustration. Even when we know this intellectually we are still trapped emotionally from the ever tormented past. I love the Idea of searching your own heart everyday to eradicate the memory error so new information an be properly utilized for practical use. It reminds me of the 7th Ch. of the Lotus Sutra "The Phantom City" it only last for a day or two of rest in the illusions of the mind and then the true journey of mind reality must continue to find the hidden treasure which is never outside of us. Otherwise it's fools gold.

    The mind has to be trained and controlled. Some are stuck in today, some are stuck in the past and others on the dreams of the future. The mind doesn’t resist wisdom, it has to be directed towards it. By controlling our senses it will come. Fear, anger, anxiety, lust, all these play a factor. We have to respect the divinity within us. As a child you are have to be taught how to be good, being bad comes naturally. In the end it takes work.

    Benti sat Sangat ji, please help me find a video from Nanak naam. I believe it was regarding Guru Nanak Ji when he uses elements of accountant as an analogy and teaching, where he breaks down things like how we should burn our attachment to maya like how martial is burned to make the ink, the ash left over is the ego, that ash is typically grinded to make the ink like ho, use the pen that represents truth and paper that reflects something else, i have forgot fully but I remember it was in a video from here please help 🙏🏽🙏🏽

    Kaber's secret that was a meditation technique....it has to do with breathing with ra or waheguru... .... it is available to all with eyes to see ...and ears to hear....the exhale words are aum sum iam satnam eym om .... all have "m"...
    What is the other half of breathing??? This is kibers secret... the inhale words ...
    He learned it when the master used ra as inhale word... trying to bring kiber to life....
    Nanak was searching for this truth....once nanak started using the word waheguru was found ...
    Inhale wa ...top of the. Chest
    Inhale he ....top of the rib cage
    Inhale gu ... the belly pops out
    Inhale ru ... the hips roll
    The breath moves down the chest
    This is the combination of both nanak and kiber
    Inhale words
    Ra
    Ya-way
    Jahova
    Who iam
    Waheguru
    Thewidowsson
    Abracadabra
    ....there is no hindu there is no Muslim...there is no kalsa ... there is no Sikh....

    I appreciate all the things you have said there , except there being no free will. Everytime someone does something , his/ her conscience alerts him (this is very subtle) and the person often overlooks this (due to the vasanaas being more powerful). I think while I agree 100% of our thoughts are generated by gods will , we have also a brain to decide what’s right and what’s wrong .
    The wrong decision carry a weight of karma , which then lead to the manifestation of good life and bad life ..
    I would like some conflicting views with some logic on this please .. 🙏🏽

    • @jatsher
      @jatsher Месяц назад +1

      You do not have the power to act. But we have the Awareness to know what we have done was good or bad. This is how I understand it.

    • @riggywind382
      @riggywind382 Месяц назад

      @@jatsher if we do not have the power to act then what we do cannot be good or bad , isn’t it ? It is the will of the akaalpurakh in that sense . This way we come back to square one again - i.e., there is no Free Will.
      My argument is that I am not sure if the above is true, since my conscience always , however very subtly tells me to not do something since it’s wrong to do , but rhen the mind takes its course and I do some bad regardless . (Sometimes for example we justify it to ourselves and say - well everybody does it !!.)
      So when my conscience alerts me, is it me making the choice ?? Is that my free will that I acted upon my minds command and couldn’t resist the temptation .?
      Can I by choice learn to live my life , or am I always a slave to God’s will .?

    • @sukhwantsinghthaper
      @sukhwantsinghthaper 16 дней назад

      If I feel that I have the power to choose right or wrong then it's like believing that I know better than the Lord. The Lord Self enables us to pick the right and He Himself leads us towards temptations. That is why we pray lead us not into temptations but deliver us from evil. It has be a total surrender to the Lord. O Lord I have rendered my life into Your hands now on lead it as per your will. Give me strength to change things that I can and provide me power to change that I want and WISDOM to know the difference. ❤❤

    If there is no free will then why does God let bad things happen in the first place?
    What’s the point of us being here just watching the show and not contributing to anything?
    Why should everyone try to learn spirituality to be one with the God as He decides and knows everything about everyone?
