Cosmo should really do ALL commentary when it comes to the SDA speed runs. He speaks incredibly well and his knowledge of speed running is unrivaled. (Needless to say. He co founded SDA. lol)
There's a known break where you can get hit by rocks so your fall distance resets and drop down whole floors during the tower escape (otherwise you fall too far and respawn), but it's TAS only since you need incredible luck manipulation

Pokey escape - you align yourself perfectly relative to the guard while leaving the forest, crouch stab, and then talk to the guard, allowing you to clip through him.

what i would want to know is if there is any difference between the GameCube and the 3 different N64 versions? because i heard that some bugs were fixed in the later N64 copies and they changed the chanting music because that chanting in the background it was a Muslim prayer or something. did that have any other effects?

hey, cosmo, an interesting Catagory would be a cinematic speedrun; a run that does not use any obviouse glitches, (like forest escape, or zombie hovering, etc) and minimizes damage recived. it would also scroll text in cut scenes at the slow speed and/or not skip any cut scenes. also, the main thing would be to time everything into two sub categories (depending on the legnth of the run): episodes (0:30 min or 1:00 hour long segments) or movie legnth (1:30)
Oh man pleeaase do a tutorial on this and maybe even a few other cheeky tricks and speedrun methods. Just found you recently dude and I dig the content! Any plans on trying a 3ds speedrun?

I think the reason for your shield burning and crashing the game is because the demu tree has no object (i think) that burns your sheild so the game designers made it so the deku sheild was not burnable but since you wrong warped the game still holds that value and then if you burn your sheild the game says wait a minute i've burned my sheild how imconfused crash*. Thats my idea do you guys like it???

I'd really like a straight forward tutorial on this. Beating OoT in a half hour would be a really coll trick to show off to friends, similar to being able to beat SM64 in half an hour with 16 stars :)
just jump on the thing like cosmo did wait for navi press b 2 times (the sword button) it will do a jump slash spam click the navi button and your done

I think that 'All Medallions' is the most interesting runs to watch due to all of the crazy glitches, but 'Any %' is still very entertaining.

It seems that the game doesn't render the appropriate "Link" object in the RAM during cutscenes, and instead uses the one you've been playing with.
He's already started working on it, but it's going to take a while, he said. Hasn't worked on it for around a month or so.
