This is probably my favorite comic of the original Marvel run, this definitely brings back memories from my childhood as I read this issue so many times. My condolences to the passing of your friend Steve.
Love this one. Great action story. The comic was firing on all cylinders at this point. Loving these videos. One quibble, Destro shouldn’t sound so blasé about that wolf attacking him. Shouldn’t just be, “A wolf.” He is truly surprised there, it should have been yelled “A WOLF!!!”
Thanks for watching! I agree with you about the lack of emphasis there, but you have to keep in mind that it's very hard to direct people who are recording lines (for free) remotely from all over the country (even different countries.) I'm lucky to even get the lines sent back in a timely fashion.
@@dshay7gamingandcomicscompletely understandable! Didn’t mean to be nitpicky. It’s one of my favorite Joe comics and I’ve read it a million times so I’m probably overthinking it, lol. Hey what’s the commitment to be a voice actor for these videos? I ask bc I’ve been a podcast guest host and interviewee several times and I’ve been told I have a good radio voice. And I love the GI Joe comics, let me know if you’re looking for an extra person
These are really excellent. The sound effects and voice overs are great. Except for Destro, not a fan of his voice. Sounds like he's underwater. But overall a great way to revisit these classic comics.
I also don't think his accent is Scottish enough, and he's trying too hard to be like the baritone of the cartoon, a little too James Earl Jones, which I sometimes resented about the cartoon.
Here’s a little suggestion for issue 33, since that issue has a celebration, how about during the party scenes putting in some 80’s music, that would be cool to hear.
@@dshay7gamingandcomics this run is special to me, I jumped on reading the original comics at about #38 and it took me a bit to catch up on back issues. These were exciting when I finally put the pieces together. Sorry if it seems I am rushing you people, lol
Sorry to hear about Steve, (R.I.P.) You guys have my condolences.
Thank you. Yeah, as you create stuff like this with people, you get to know them a bit. A very sad loss.
You guys are doing great work. Please don’t stop! I’m particularly impressed with the sound effects.
Thanks so much! It's really fun adding sfx to Larry Hama's vision.
Yeah, I’m loving it.
Awesome to watch, as ever. 👌🏽
But the message at the end... My condolences, I'm sorry for your loss. 🙏🏼❤️
Thank you so very much, and thanks for watching.
So very sorry about steve. His talent left behind in these videos as a part of a grand work of art will be enjoyed by many.
Thanks so much. Yeah, I really enjoyed him being a part of this. Thanks for watching and for your kind words.
"The true hunter never leaves his blind." Epic moment
Totally agree…lot of drama and action in this issue.
Awesome!! Been wanting patiently for this episode to drop
Great job✌️
Thank you! One of my favorite issues, for sure…lots of action!

This was the first issue of the series drawn by Rod Whigham, he's probably my favorite artist from the Marvel era of the series.
Agreed, I love his artwork!
He was my favorite of the artists. He even did some work on the Punisher later, I was quite happy to see his art again!
another great rendition of a classic chapter in the saga.
Thank you! Yeah, this issue was always one of my favorites.
R.I.P. Nice job on the dedication.
Thank you so very much.
Love these videos, sorry about Steve, he was extremely talented, R.I.P..
Thank you so very much. We will miss him, for sure.
Sorry for your loss. I just now watched this video.
Thank you. 🙏
Oh damn. Steve did a pretty good job too. Condolences.

I think his voice is supposed to sound like that with the steel mask on

I like it! Thanks for the suggestion. Might get a copyright flag though if it’s a real song. RUclips is pretty strict about that.
@@dshay7gamingandcomics True. My only sugestion is putting a disclaimer at the begining saying you don't own any of the songs that are in this video.
This is awesome!
Thanks for tuning in! Be sure to check out the other issues!
Well done!
Thanks my friend!
Love it
Thanks so much!
Is #33 out, or premiering? Sad that Steve is gone, and I imagine you need to recast for Zartan, also sad.
Thanks for the kind words. 33 is close! It’s just been a very busy summer. Hope to have it out soon.

@@jamesabeyta9389 That’s the hope. Currently working on #3 and #33. Very behind but hoping to get back on track.
