Right clicking helps so much with building same pieces. You don’t have to reselect the piece after each drop. Also for the roofs I found it best to point at what you want to connect. Once you get one up just point to the side of the placed roof where you want to build another and it will snap on. But it is very finicky especially building stairs.
mine kept saying there's no support structure, when there's clearly a wall and floor beneath and I can't snap the roof piece on. I'm guessing the "snap point" isn't that easy to find, it's like minecraft's stairs lol
@@quiksilver0000 I saw some mods on nexusmods that allows to build anywhere and remove some verifications. Good for players that just want to build houses, etc.
Same with this. It frustrates me when people don’t look over the UI to see what other options there are. The bottom of the ui says “build continuously.” Game changer
Finally! I’ve been searching for some base ideas or just what other people have been building to look at the potential of creativity ever since release. This is the first video I’ve seen show some of that creativity so far, I’ve spent too much time already in game with decor alone
The way I used to watch ConsoleCaito back in the ACNH days, lost track of her content when ACNH died out (for me). And now I'm being suggested Palworld content from her years later. Iconic
Two suggestions I'd make is to turn off raids in the game settings of your world before you load in and to make all your foundations stone. Even without raids, pals can/will set themselves on fire if you have something like the campfire nearby. If they get too close to your home, it will burn down. I suggest changing the foundations at minimum since that's likely where you'll have your work stations/chests. If they lose support, they break and you lose all mats/everything inside of them. Love the cozy look, though.
Thank you so much for sharing your building tips and thoughts while designing. Mentioning things like that really helps spark creative thinking to make our own designs. This is the first video I looked up for Palworld base building stuff so I learned a lot from it. I'm also happy to see I'm not the only one who accidentally presses C to crouch when I'm trying to actually bring up the Disassembly mode haha.
Get a pal in your party with the handy skill, aim at your unbuilt furniture press e and it will assign it to that item so it will finish building it while you continue decorating. When it’s done press e to put it back away and repeat for the next item. I do that because they either get in the way or don’t move onto the next thing so constantly throwing them out to assign and putting them back away works best! Super cute porch, hope to see more decorating from you!
I love this, in so happy I'm finding builders that just want a pretty base for the sake of pretty. I'm working on my second home now and you have taught me some tricks from your other videos too. Thank you.
nice, palworld is the first time I actually thought out a good looking base in a survival game.... honestly the amount of decor options is fantastic, especially mid to end game with the bathrooms and cozy beds and antique cabinets
I've been playing with my husband and haven't had a chance to... play my way, you know... for the AESTHETIC~~, hopefully soon we can take it a little easy and I can decorate. The shitty thing is that he started the world and I can only play when he is. SIGH. But this is inspiring! I had no idea there was IVY, love it.
You can have more than one save file. I play on a dedicated server with my friends. One of them started the world first cause they paid for the dedicated server (It's like the one you have with your husband but on dedicated servers, anyone given permission to play on it can play on that world whenever they want, even if the person who made the world isn't online) and I haven't really played it my way either. I've been trying to catch up to them in levels and such. But I have my own personal file that I can do whatever I want with. And it looks like I can make more than one. You won't have to worry about saving over your data with your husband because it will all be saved on that server he made.
I play with my friends... 1 of them owns a Iron camp, the other runs around aimlessly, I stay at base creating our homes. Everything gives EXP just guild up and let him go adventure, when he returns he will have a town.
Just some tips for building, you can actually press right-click to continue building another block/platform instead of repetitively manual clicking building menu everytime.
thank you for showcasing! i go crazy with the plants too, pairs great with the castle blocks too.... for the metal, its nice if aiming for an overgrown factory, nature reclaiming it
This is the kind of content that proves this game has a lot of potential for years to come. I hope the devs pay attention and maybe even share your video.
Just wanted to say thanks for showing how to add the angled roof pieces. I just couldn't figure out how to do it. But I see placing one below then one above and deleting the lower one works. Thanks again!
Your house is really nice and it made me very self-conscious about my own. My first was extremely tiny, i built it only to house the bed and escape the cold. The second one i built was a little larger to house the wooden chest as well, but watching yours makes me want to not only demolish it and rebuild but also start entertaining with friends!
I love building interesting buildings in games like this and with the limited sets in Palworld it's tough. You definitely made this work though! One thing I've always struggled with however is decorating after the fact. Hopefully the limited pieces will force me to dedicate more time to that aspect. Subscribed for inspiration!
My god, finally someone's making an aesthetic video in base building! I'm still in mid game about 15-18 hours and I absolutely despise how my base looks. I've never been good at building stuff like even in Minecraft, so hopefully I can get good tips from you!
Damn i love your porch, and i totally agree, not everything needed to be placed down base on their functional feature, u can totally place down a fridge just to make it feel like a piece of furniture even when u are not powering it up with a pal, just dont put food in there thats all, we should always think outside the box for decoration (i also love to use the bell for decoration)
i just wanna say i love people like you in survival games cus im always looting gathering never have time to make the base look nice so i commend people like you
Started the game 3 days ago (54hrs of playing :x ) and thank you for this video, allow me to do something clean at first try when doing my 3rd base ! especially for the kind of Rug tips that you should take care beforehand any kind of placement ! To build the tricky piece , try to point the corner/very edge (sometime pixel) and you should be able to build tricky access area !
For roof building if you use consecutive build you can right click the place the roof then click again immediately and it will sort of smart add the next level
Hi Caito Potato!! Love the video and the build, I just wanted to mention that when building the same piece for a structure ie roof piece, you can use right click to continuously build with that piece and then do left click to place the final piece 😊
I noticed that you would open the build wheel after placing what you want to build, if you right click you can continuously build without opening the wheel again. I wasn't sure if you already knew if so, sorry, then this Is for those who didn't know
So funny story about the roofing pieces, the reason they are so finicky to place is because they're just upside down stairs. At least in the stone section they are, because if you put down a stone roof anywhere and you look underneath it's just the stairs
It is a must to have a base you like going back to. In my opinion. I don't know how people play a game with building, and they just throw shit down wherever. NOT ON MY WATCH. NONO. Have you seen the lavender fields? Reaaaaal nice. Gonna be where I build there next. Also, can't wait for them to add more decorations. I really hope they do.
tip for building, you can right click instead of left to not have to keep opening the menu and selecting the same thing over and over again. good for laying down foundations and walls etc.
Every base I built just created a never ending struggle of resetting pals that got stuck inside it, or on top of it. Really hope they improve pathfinding and the glitches that get them stuck on the roof. Or maybe secretly they just want to have a party on the roof and I'm not invited.
I love how even in a game like this, where decoration is not a core aspect of the gameplay, you're still able to make a cute aesthetic home.
Hehe. Always the goal!

Welcome back 😏😏😏
I caved and bought Palworld yesterday. I hope to play it tonight. I need a cozy base like this!
Let’s gooooo
Just make sure you choose an area to defend easily lol. Or raiders will destroy all your progress
I recommend turning off the option of building destruction within your world settings. Wouldn't want you to lose your progress
Pro tip: Deleting walls on fire will stop it from spreading and making your base go poof
@@georgewashington7982my lucky daedream would obliterate every dawg that messes with my base
