The music video is full of symbolism. It tells the story of young artists choked by the vision of profits and fame. At first, with excitement written on their faces, they let themselves be chained into obedience and servitude to people who promise them a career. Later, the world of show business turns out to be more and more dirty, but since you entered it, you have to get dirty. Then the artist gives a performance on the table where the elite sits. They are dead and indifferent, though he goes out of his way. They don't care about him as an artist or as a person... what counts are the profits he's supposed to bring. The show turns into a fight for yourself. Blows in the air are an attempt to break free. But it's too late. An artist dressed in beautiful shirts and make-up puts on a mask. He becomes a puppet. Everyone admires him. But inside he is empty and trapped. Still stained by his own not always moral decisions. I give up. We think he died in those chains, but part of his soul still lives and wants to fight. He wants people to leave him alone, he wants to be dead to them. And when it turns out that people have found another puppet, he shows with an ironic smile that he survived all this hell... Thank you for your support! Must inform you that Jann wrote those lyrics, music even the video was completely his idea. He's genius. Yeah, it's about being a slave and product in music industry for someone's entrainment, big labels don't care about their artists and they are pushing them over the lines and just throw them away into the mud. I'm so glad he's making his own way without big label houses and without support of big radio station, TV broadcasters. He is the Gladiator in real life, they did him dirty on that preselection but luckily it's not 00's anymore, so they don't decide who's going to be a star. Thank you for your reaction to Gladiator. Jann is an extremely talented young composer, he writes lyrics and music himself, records backing vocals for his songs, directs his music videos. I encourage you to familiarize yourself with his other works and live performances. Today, 02.06, his new song Need a break, beautiful, premiered.
