Where did you get the guillotine cutter? I have some acrylic nail cutter that are very similar but they have a curved knockout which makes them not as useful. Is that one also a "claw cutter"?

i some unknown brand mini side cutters that can cut through thin wires, staples, etc. and they have held real nice.

For small electronics work, the Kleins seem like overkill. I have Xuron, Xcelite and Hakko (rebranded from an italian maker), all of which are stamped. I was not impressed with the Xcelites, though I like many other xcelite tools. I prefer the Xuron cutters and pliers for their smoothness and effectiveness. Both the xuron cutters and the xcelite cutters use offset blades that xuron calls "MicroShear" so they are supposed to not match up exactly, sort of like a little tiny scissor blade. I may try some lindstroms eventually, but I dont see myself ever getting those beefy kleins to cut tiny wires, especially when they are not as effective on copper wire. The only thing I could see using them for would be harder wire like guitar strings.

The little Klein's are nice because they are so beefy yet small. I have never heard of duron I'll try some someday. The lindstrom's are still the best made ones I've ever seen

Put the diamond cutters in vinegar to remove rust

Thank you, I saw Harbor Freight had a rust remover I wonder if it's vinegar-based

Don't use vinegar, just use some steel wool and wd40 or a soft wire wheel in a Dremel.
Rest removers or mostly any acidic chemicals will turn the color of the steel, and if there's any patina it'll remove it.

I've got an identical pair to those GC cutters, but theyre only marked " precision range " they came out of an old inexpensive electronics screwdriver set.
It shows that they're inexpensive, but they're sharp and precise so they do see some use.
