They've made this song so much more sinister over their Covid hiatus. The addition of those sliding strings in the second verse is absolutely skin-crawling. Bringing it Down used to be one of my lesser favorite acoustic versions, it just seemed like the same heavy song directly translated to acoustic instruments and didn't really work. But it's great to see they've been hard at work making it better and giving this version its own identity. Bates's voice is continues to improve as well.

These Strings are insane. I just dislike the way they use the heavily echoing voice effects. Not really acoustic and it often sounds very confusing.
