I have a ruby red 2018 mustang gt pp1 just like that. Unfortunately mine was a lemon. Multiple 10 speed transmissions, oil leaks, electrical issues. I'm having so many mixed emotions about giving back the car. My first and last mustang. Such a fun car when it works right.
Prior to header install - 4:40 Cold start (full exhaust) - 8:10 Outside of car (full exhaust) - 11:28 In-car (full exhaust) - 12:24 So you all don’t waste your time...
Off topic question: zander what tires are those on the back of your car? On topic the exhaust sounds great but I'd spend that coin towards a procharger if it were me. Sounds odd when the valves are closed, almost tinny.
I did the long tubes with the roush exhaust on mine and I'm not crazy about the sound of it now. Has a bad slappy sound. I'm looking to changing axlebacks again.
I've heard headers aren't worth the effort versus the labor due to the small gains. Aside from the catback - a much easier install - are headers worth the effort for the price? I've read some places they result in maybe 10-15 hp increase. Great active exhaust btw. I have the varex (you can check out on my channel) it has a very deep tone but wide open it is very tame next to this lol. I live in CA so I had to go with a mild setup.
@@streetslayers410 Even forced induction to a point is fine if you do a cat delete. A cat delete vs headers is about 10hp max difference which you can't feel. The stock manifolds aren't very restrictive for most people. Someone building a strictly race car may want to do headers with larger primaries though.
I know you had an issue with your mustang wanting to stall and having a rough idle my 2016 GT is having that issue. How did you fix your rough idle issue?
Zander13 I’m going to a shop next week I have a code p160a hoping it’s just some lose wires or something and not that I have to replace the pcm or control module.
Still too raspy for me, I'm very old school and like a much deeper note. But great to know what not to get :) Also great to see a ruby red as I've just bought my first Mustang here in Oz and it's ruby red but I bought it sight unseen with exactly the same spoiler as this beautiful car.

Personally would never deal with Corsa. They borrowed my new Golf R on 2 separate occasions to develop an exhaust in exchange for an exhaust system. They never made the exhaust, and all I got out of the deal was a flat tire and a bunch of inconvenience.

I got a 2017 GT and just bought cords extreme mufflers. Gonna put it up to an H pipe instead of the double x it comes with. Let’s see how different it sounds versus everyone else

Its just characteristic of this type of motor. If we wanted a deep grumble we woudlve gotten chevy's haha! ...but we wanted to actually be fast...

I took the Roush route, just because personally the Corsas are way to much. I don’t have LongTubes yet and I know roush Is deafening too. But Cora’s is another level. You love to hear them tho driving. And also did you know Corsa recommends not putting their long tubes on the extremes 🤷🏾♂️
Trust me as someone that's owned 8 mustangs, I miss the old Tremecs, especially the T56 that was in my 03 cobra. If Ford would put that in these new 5.0s instead of the mt-82 that you have to baby shift or risk breaking it or getting locked out of gear, then they would have absolutely knocked it out of the park with the new 5.0s. I've owned a 2011 and my current 2017 5.0, both manuals, and although the newer one is a little better, it's still hot garbage next to a tremec. A good short throw shifter does wonders, but still doesn't completely fix it

Try about twice that.

That is exhaust set up isn’t for low deep growls, corsa is know for an exotic high pitched race car sound. Look into borla if you want deep growls

On the header question, when you look at the stock headers the build quality is crap. The welds are rough.
Upgrade to Granatelli coil packs. More bang for your buck and a simple install.

The coyote engine is raspy, at high rpms they will all sound similar.

Does changing your exhaust void your warranty?
Nope. It will only void the warranty on the parts I removed.
Now the engine is tuned, that could void it if they can prove the tune caused the issue.
