@NapLabReviews I could sure use your help! I've been unable to find a mattress that's right for me. I was in love with my 2007 Sleepy's Eurotop, but after 10 years I had to replace it. I've struggled for the past 6 years. OG Purple lacked lumbar support, Saatva Mattresses are too hard, Beautyrest Black Class C Plush felt like the middle was sinking. I was considering the Purple Restore Premiere. I need something that will support my 170 lb mid-body while letting my arm/shoulder sink in sleeping on my side.
@@xmenotux Take a look at the softer version of the Winkbed - naplab.com/go/winkbed-mattress Review here - naplab.com/mattress-reviews/winkbed-review/ It's similar in materials / design to the 2007 Sleepy's euro top you enjoyed and I think will be a good fit for what you're looking for.
@NapLabReviews Someone recommended the Bear Elite Hybrid which I see you rated best Hybrid bed. The different coil zones sound intriguing. Would that also be a good option, or do you think Wink is definitely a better option for me?
I'm actually upgrading to this mattress from last years model because it offers a softer version, plus the store is crediting me my previous purchase even though its been a year 🙃 😅
Seemingly Purple no longer sells the soft version of the Restore Premier (or the firm version for that matter). They now just sell one on-named version.
We are in the middle of a warranty replacement for our Purple Hybrid Premier 4, and they are offering a replacement with the RestorePremier Firm or Soft. How does the firmness of the Hybrid Premier 4 compare to the RestorePremier Firm?
We ended up with the RestorePremier Firm and I think it was a good choice. In my opinion, it's a little more supportive but somehow cushier at the same time. It's very comfortable and we really like it. @@Analyzer52
Have you done a test on the Purple Mattress RejuvenatePremier? I wondered why it’s so expensive and what your test would be like to test something that’s double the price of this mattress.
I unfortunately have not. I too wonder why it's so expensive. It's hard to imagine any world in which it would be worth that price. Among all mattress brands I've tested to date we see a point of diminishing returns at around $1,500 for a Queen. The diminishing returns really picks up speed after $3K and in my view there is very little reason to ever spend more than $3.5K on a mattress.
We didn't test the Restore Premier soft, just the firm version. At least in the case of the firm version I found that it was slightly warmer than Premier 4.
@NapLabReviews I'm trying to see if there are differences...I now have the spec sheet. It's 11.5 inches thick hybrid 2inch gelflex Dual layer comfort foam Responsive coils system Edge support foam
I am in the process of purchasing the Restore premier (FIRM). The price is a bit much for me. Though, I think it's worth it. After years of sleeping on the worst mattress made. This may have to be the one.
We recently purchased a SleepEZ at $2,500. It's not exactly what we both had hoped for so spending more is not the answer at least for us.@@humanchannel9421
Great to see a mattress review that actually has honest criticism and essential tells you “no” it’s not worth the money. This whole new line from purple is absurdly overpriced. They’re basically what a Intellibed was before purple bought them. Now…. If we could get you to comb your hair? 🤭 i’m teasing. Keep being honest in a RUclips full of frauds doing mattress reviews.
Agreed. The price just no longer makes any sense. They are good mattresses (some models are great), but there are just so many mattresses that perform equal to or better than Purple for far less money. Regarding my hair - lol, you right. I've resorted to more frequently cutting it for the sake the channel.

Nice! That should be a good upgrade for you. I hope you like it.
The hell? Wet spot at 2:26. What are ya'll testing?
Lol - the weighted vest had left a mark on the cover, so I had tried to scrub it off with some water.
You have to try the soft version of this bed. Day and night difference. It's cushier than the restore Plus.

The firmness of the Hybrid Premier 4 and Restore Premier Firm is very similar. I rated both at a 6 out of 10, medium-firm feel.
Going through the same thing. Probably going to try both before deciding.

Would there be any other mattress cheeper similar to this brand?
Unfortunately, not. No other brand is currently selling a mattress with any material similar to the Purple gel grid.
I have an opertunity to buy a restore premium for half price brand new including warranty.
I think for that price im jumping on it
Why is it half price?
@NapLabReviews discontinued apparently...it's from a very reputable store in Canada

Indeed - I agree. Really hard to justify the cost, in my view.
The price alone is a dealbreaker.
Why?
A really good quality latex mattress from a manufacturer is going to cost you around that.
Actually, just get one of those.
