    Sir, your series for fundamentals of physical geography is excellent. You have amazingly made the worder out of it. I have covered and revised it whole with your videos and ncert side by side. But this series of India physical environment is very brief and not very explanatory word to word unlike the fundamentals of physical geography. Hence, this time i am studying the whole chapter myself then doing revision with quick glance accompanied with you videos.
    Though you are doing commendable job.
    I am subscribed to your channel with the bell icon activated and still waiting for your promised videos on-
    1. Extra tropical cyclone s and Tropical Cyclones.
    2. Evolution of Earth from the time of bigbang stage by stage.
    Finger crossed for Plus Two Geography. Hoping it better.

    Sir u know... I m a geography student.. Studied at at top colleges.. But sir these clssses are best.. I mean its awesome... But sir make lessons little long.. Per chapter 30 minutes is okk.... It will help cover so many aspects also... But seriously love u... Its great.. Really great work

      +Megha Thanvi - one is fundamentals of physical geography which deals with earth and world geographical features and the other is India physical environment which deals with Indian geographical features.

    You said in 10:44 that the river divides in 2 ie Bhagirathi and hoogli.. But according to what ik it divides in 2 ie Bhagirathi (hoogli) and Padma which is a major river of Bangladesh.. Plz answer my query

      back exercises are of no use. use a question bank from a third party publisher. NCERT has crappy and very straightforward and mostly useless questions relating to the chapter.

    Sir, what is the difference between tortuous (twists and turns in mountains) and meandering (in plains) ? Both mean that the river isn't following a straight path, it is curved.

    I think you have designed this video in a tremendous flow like that of a young himalayan river.It was required to be longer alike river basins of himalayan rivers so that we could have gone through minute details.Otherwise it is good for revision purpose once you have read the chapter.

    The explained part is obviously good.Given very good information and also defining terms like perennial..etc.But sorry to say u had missed a lot of stuff from ncert like tributaries and river systems of penininsular drainage ..Hope u will add them too soon..     08:54 Beas originates from Rohtang pass not river Ravi
    Ravi river rises from the Bara Banghal ( a branch of Dhauladhar ) as a joint stream formed by the glacier-fed Badal and Tant Gari. Town Chamba (Himachal Pradesh )is situated on the right bank of the river Ravi.

    Seriously this series didn't satisfy me becoz of lack of total information and too fast unlike fundamentals of geography it was amazing.. But this thing seriously not up-to the expectations and hence I learnt by myself..

    Sir, from CDS exam point of view Ganga and Brahmaputra rivers are important. It would have been nice if you had explained all the tributaries of Ganga along with their orgin. Please make a separate video on it.

    sir radial pattern of drainage name originates from RADIAL ENGINE in a plane, where the cylinders are arranged in a circular way sharing the same camshaft, not RADIAL TIRES.

    Sir , Your book is quite different from that of mine . According to my book ( NCERT Geography class 9 ) , world's largest drainage basin is of Amazon . However , according to your book , the river Nile of Egypt is the world's largest . You are requested to clear the doubt emerged consequently in concept.

    hello sir.first of all thanku so much .i would like to put up a ques that how dismembrance of river changed the origin point of river as river broke from eastern and western side and not from their origin point so how ganga starts originating from gangotri and indus from tibet.,i hope u understood my ques.
