A lil trick used in all assembly or building applications......leave everything loose until you have it all assembled......then crank it down tight.......gives you bit of play and adjustability.... Makes process alot easier
These running boards are really nice. I watch all your videos, and actually live right down the street from you.I just bought a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee overland and would love to have a set of these on my Jeep.WIn WIN.

I just drove home my new 2021 GMC Sierra Elevation 1500 double cab with the 3.0L diesel, and was hoping to do the APS I-Boards again, but was concerned about the installation because I was looking for the mounting that uses the cab bolt like I had previously, but this looks solid. I had a previous generation APS I-Board on my previous 2014 Sierra Denali HD that had holes with threaded inserts that corroded. APS sent me replacements and they had the t-track like you showed, which as a significant improvement. Scott
Trick is to leave everything loose then when u got every bolt in every hole tighten it down baby I’m not very handy but even I did it with no help from RUclips or manual

I just realized that I said that I have a 2019 Chevy Silverado but I have a 2019 GMC Sierra 1500. Oops... I had the 2017 Silverado until I got the GMC.

I had to film and make sure that the video was well recorded. The tripod wasn't going to cut it. I guess I could have had Mark do the recording but he already has the lift at his level and wouldn't have fit underneath at my level. lol. Being a sponsored video it can't be poorly made. I know you're just joking around about it but it really is now a one person easy install compared to the previous models. Also having the lift makes it even easier. How the coating holding up where it’s black ?
The black part is holding up just fine but the end caps are oxidized very badly.
