Last week I upgraded the shocks on my overlanding vehicle ('92 Toyota Camry). The new shocks are from a '93 Camry. I think I'm ready to go to Moab with you guys now
@@LastLineOfDefense I have 1 snow tire, 1 mud tire, 1 all terrain tire, and 1 racing slick tire. I believe this setup allows me to perform well in any situation or weather type. My '92 Camry is now most likely one of the most well-sorted overlanding vehicles this side of the rockies. Let me know when the next expedition is and I'll lead the way
Hey Mike, another great video. Please keep making this kind of adventure content with Fotornr and Swellrunner. It keeps my spirits high as I'm stuck in a hospital bed getting chemotherapy for cancer. You guys are doing all the things I wanted to do with my boys before I got diagnosed a few months ago, and now I'm watching all the time getting ideas on where and what to do next once I beat this shit and I can get back to my life. Keep it up man! A heartfelt thank you!
It is getting harder and harder to watch your videos due to how much I wish I can partake in those adventures. Fanatastic intro. I was trying to figure out watch the image was before it displayed the landscape. Love all your content. Keep them comkng
I thought I snuck a little plug in somewhere!! Haha. Thanks for putting that in! 🤣🤣 such a fun video! It was a pain filming in the rain but a blast to hit this trail together! And holy... wow that snow storm!!
LoL, that last clip got me. Door frozen shut. Us SoCal guys dont know that pain. As for types of video? I did both the PEWS and the Overlanding. That is why your channel is top on my list right now. Keep them both coming. You are up there with Ronny Dahl for me right now.
Just picked up a 2019 Tacoma Cement Grey TRD OF Premium, last week! Definitely will get into some overlanding, with my boys (sons). Not quite ready to thrash this beauty, yet. Also have Alife cement colored crocs to match. 😄🤣🐊
So me and my 6 year old son wait ever week for you to upload your next video! He absolutely love watch you and your adventures. Want me to make my truck look like yours! Thank you for doing this we make this our tradition ever time you upload that we lay in his bed and cuddle and watch. You have a huge fan in Kansas!
This is what life is all about, the outdoors with your friends for some fresh air and wheeling Toyotas. I'm caught in the city life and the rat race, i gotta make it out to Moab this year.
Looks like great fun, but man I hate it when my ride gets a little dusty, I was cringing when the hitch was scraping along that rock, ouch! Great video, can't wait for your next one!
This trip was awesome! I liked it very much because it was real, I mean you couldn't have planned this awesome snow trip back! One thing I am wondering about as a beginning overlander is what the best set up is for a overlanding/touring family vehicle: A big roof top tent with awning and stuff or a truck bed unit link Alu cab makes for the Tacoma and Hilux ( I'm planning to get a 2001 Hilux)
If you're planning to mainly use it for overlanding, those truck bed campers are awesome. Since this is my daily driver, and I only go out every other weekend or so, the rooftop tent makes more sense for me.
I don’t think I took one single breath through the entire video - mouth open in shock and awe - awesome video. Never been camping, off roading or anything similar but I love whatever this is - somebody start a business taking amateur ‘ride-a-long’ customers!
What did you think of the X-Cover? I saw your reviews, but I would like to know your thoughts after using it again on this trip, more of a long term. I have ordered one for my ZR2 with a set up similar to yours over the bed with Yakima Racks. Do you have any advice for better mounting or hacks for better use? BTW, great video as always.
Love your build, I bought a similar setup with Front Runner for my Diamondback. Did you do anything special to get the bed watertight, seems like there are two gaps in the bed on the cab side corners?
Wow watching y'all do those trails with all those highly modified rigs made me wonder how my stock 4runner did so well 😂 good vid. Love the green 4runner.
@@LastLineOfDefense for sure. Still bashed in the skid and drug the bumper a good bit. Did y'all hit Hell's Revenge too? I wondered how the rocks were out there when raining
Fun story about that spot in Moab.... We had just woke up and some hippie dreadlock chick in her subi rolled up, places a small flag in the dirt. She then asked us if we'd mind keeping an eye on her dog for 15 minutes. She says he'll stay by the car but just wants us to watch him. We say sure, and she goes talking off up that cliff to the West. About 15 minutes later we hear a yelled countdown and see this chick send it off the cliff and pop a chute. She safely lands by the flag she planted, and her dog runs to greet her. She stuffs her chute in her outback, tells us thanks, she has to go, she's late for yoga, and fucking bounced out. 😂😂 Didn't film it, no friends, no nothing. Just hucking cliffs for the hell of it. Probably the coolest thing I've ever seen
Mike, I'm interested to know if you guys bring any spare parts in case of emergencies. I've done some CV axle swaps and some grinding and even welding on a trail once. Great vid as usual bud. Thanks! Oh, and that snowstorm was a pretty good one here on the north side of the big mountain!
Hey man. New to the Channel and really enjoying the videos so far. Have only really watched your overlanding videos because my girlfriend and I are really wanting to get into it. What size lift and wheels do you got on the tan Tacoma?
How do you find other people to go overland with? We have a month long trip planned and would love to connect with other people out on the trail at the same time.
Great video! You have really inspired me to get into this. What is your average combined fuel economy in that Taco? I am curious how that front bumper may be affecting it.
I know this is unrelated to the video but I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind linking to and/or possibly describing your wiring setup under you hood. Particularly the fuse block and the 125 watt inline. Anything would would likely help me. Thanks man
Man this makes me wish they brought the Tacoma to Australia! great videos man. Looks like you got some great photos. That opening drone shot was great! how did you even do that! Also, what was the music on the way home in the snow?

How are your tires? I think we could squeeze you into the caravan next go around.

Kick its ass, so you can get out there with your boys! I'll keep you in my prayers, stay strong!

one of my favorite ones yet, my dude. the music syncing w/ the shots was on point.
Agreed !

Yeah, I need to up my filming game...
Great Video Brother!! I sure do miss Colorado!!! Born and raised. Living in Cali with Colorado roots. Thanks for the memories.

Haha nice - Ronny is awesome.
Some badass trucks👍🏻 I like that you guys get out there and use them for what they’re intended for.

Caesar Hernandez congrats on the new truck. Can’t wait till i get one 😬
This is just an inspiration to the whole overland adventure community. Love it man. Keep up the good work !
Your video editing is on point so much growth in the past year! Well done. Love your stuff with field craft as well! You guys are the dream team!!!!

That's awesome, man - glad you guys get to spend some time together watching em!
I live the videos. I'm a native Coloradan. I'm stuck in the Bay area for a couple more years. Your videos take me down memory lane. Keep on posting
Bay area has a lot of beautiful places though, not too far away!
Very true. We are out exploring all the time
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh frozen doors, don't miss that at all! Awesome video as usual, great syncing of the music with the shots.
Amazing series! Love watching you and the guys get out and have a blast! Definitely beginning to get into the Overlanding craze myself!
Couldn't have picked a better day than this. Perfect weather in my op. It's great to see all you guys together. Great photos/vids also...
This video was great. You showed few behind the scenes and it shows how much work it takes to create great content. Keep it up.
Dude that intro photo was sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This has me pumped for my trip to Moab this weekend!
This is what life is all about, the outdoors with your friends for some fresh air and wheeling Toyotas. I'm caught in the city life and the rat race, i gotta make it out to Moab this year.
Right On ....,really spectacular job! Cut a little short, but lived to tell about it! Taco power and Toyo 4 runner all day!
Just started watching your videos. Can’t stop! Great advise and footage
Thanks for watching!
Looks like great fun, but man I hate it when my ride gets a little dusty, I was cringing when the hitch was scraping along that rock, ouch! Great video, can't wait for your next one!
Do a movie on your life, what you have done in the past and what you currently do. Great movie, epic adventure during a great weekend.
That was a fun collaboration trip to watch, Glad u survived too! Love the variety of content, always fresh , keep it up!
I loved it mike!! Awesome footage keep them coming!!
Looks like fun! I can only imagine what your floor mats looked like with all that rain. Be safe.
Moab IS Heaven.

Gotta be my fav video you’ve ever made man, so awesome
I’ve been with you since about 10k subs, how you don’t have 3 times the amount of subs you have right now is beyond me man, good stuff. 🤘🏼
Awesome content Mike! watching your videos is making me look at buying a decked out land cruiser and hitting the trails

My fav yet!
Love your videos Mike , keep em coming !!!
I see the Crocs made another appearance....
Tactical crocs. 👍🏻👍🏻🤘🏻
Great video Mike
Long drives = croc life.
Last Line Of Defense it’s almost like thug life just a little different...🤷🏼♂️
That intro was SO trippy!!!
Mike , Could you do a review on your GCI outdoor chair ? I'm looking for a quality chair for camping . Thanks
I have the same Tacoma, but stock. Thanks for inspiring me to get out even if I don't have all the upgrades yet! Lovin' the channel.
Mike really enjoyed the Stills in the video. Nicely done!
Wow watching y'all do those trails with all those highly modified rigs made me wonder how my stock 4runner did so well 😂 good vid. Love the green 4runner.
Haha yeah Fins is a fun little trail that isn't difficult at all. Good trail for inclement weather without really putting yourself in any danger.
@@LastLineOfDefense for sure. Still bashed in the skid and drug the bumper a good bit. Did y'all hit Hell's Revenge too? I wondered how the rocks were out there when raining
The music is dope! Nice driving.
Moab is in my back yard! Love your rig man. My stock Off Road needs some mods bad. Great vid, really enjoy them.
Another excellent video! Well done.

That intro was the bomb.
That was awesome! I am getting a Tacoma this week, but it’s not 4 wheel drive :/
Love the taco videos!
Truck is awesome. Dream truck right there man.
Mike the vids are great Thank you Too bad the trip was cut short, but Im glad only your doors froze.
Love to join your trips one of this days on my new truck. Just setting up everything before test driving it out in MOAB
What do you do for a living if you don't mind me asking? What field do you work in?
Mike, I'm interested to know if you guys bring any spare parts in case of emergencies. I've done some CV axle swaps and some grinding and even welding on a trail once. Great vid as usual bud. Thanks!
Oh, and that snowstorm was a pretty good one here on the north side of the big mountain!
Glad you made home safe. How did the Wild peaks do in the snow and ice? Just bought some last week but I have a F250 crew cab diesel. Thanks
Awesome vid mike!
So those Falken Wildpeaks at3w does hella well in snow/blizzard driving road conditions?
Awesome video. Love it.
That 3seconds at the beginning of the video is sick!!!
So great ! From France
Hey man. New to the Channel and really enjoying the videos so far. Have only really watched your overlanding videos because my girlfriend and I are really wanting to get into it. What size lift and wheels do you got on the tan Tacoma?
Great job with the timing at the end (music and editing) thumbs up
Dude your truck is badass!!
You should do a video covering all the mods you have done !!
Check out Swellrunner on RUclips - he just did a recent walkaround.
How do you find other people to go overland with? We have a month long trip planned and would love to connect with other people out on the trail at the same time.
Dannng, that storm was nuts. Glad you made it back okay.
"See you in heaven" lol. Love it
Great shots amigo!
Great video! You have really inspired me to get into this. What is your average combined fuel economy in that Taco? I am curious how that front bumper may be affecting it.
Damn, literally just came back from Moab yesterday, such an awesome place!
Who's 4runner rig is shown at 1:07? I gotta know how and where they got that custom subwoofer enclosure installed in the back!
I like the rig walk around vids
that shot in the beginning was tripppy
Hey just had a question, I was wondering how much all your outside modifications to your truck were and how long did it take?
I know this is unrelated to the video but I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind linking to and/or possibly describing your wiring setup under you hood. Particularly the fuse block and the 125 watt inline. Anything would would likely help me. Thanks man
I have a video called something like "what's under my hood" that has a bit of detail on all that.
Nice trip!
Great video! What headlights do you have? They are awesome
that intro tripped me out
What kind of drone are you using? Make a video on that!
Love all your vids
Nice drone shot.
That ending though 😆🤣😆🤣
Have you tried coming down those rocks at a slight angle to see if that would avoid scratching your hitch reciever?
Most spots don't really have a way to hit them at different angles.
Man this makes me wish they brought the Tacoma to Australia! great videos man. Looks like you got some great photos.
That opening drone shot was great! how did you even do that!
Also, what was the music on the way home in the snow?
I work at evergreen, plow snow, that storm was a shitty one for sure. How was that drive on 70 that night?
Do you guys just dig a hole when you need to drop a deuce?
Pretty good videos and your alive.
BRO I LOVE YOUR TRUCK 😍
#goalsAF
All vehicles was great. And the trail also.
I'm wondering, what is the average fuel consumption of these cars with the aftermarket modifications!
Are your skids aluminum or steel? Thanks
Badass Mike! Great video partner
Great video.
Off reading and guns!!!!
What tire pressure you runnin in them falkens and what do you thank of them so far
What rack system is that? Love it . The one on the Tacoma
No joke I was in Colorado the week after that snowstorm LOL it actually wasn't that bad it was cold but that's not saying much cuz I'm from California
Amazing content
Awesome vid! Can you make one about your 35s and what it took to clear them?
Yup, plannin to!
If Toyota Isn't sponsoring you all - WHY NOT??!!!!!!! It doesn't get any better!
awsome rigs
Awesome vid.....
