He is chartered accountant.. our teacher is m.com plus B.ed. .. we can get degrees mcom plus Bed with in 4 years without any efforts.. but in ca , we have to sacrifice a lot.. I couldn't attend my elder brother marriage due to ca final exam.. I sacrificed so many festivals. I took 6 years to become ca..

sole trader, maintains two Bank Accounts, No.1 Account is for his business
and No.2 Account is his private account.
On June 30, 1995, there was a balance of Rs 890 standing to his credit in
No. 1 Account. It was
discovered that
1. The receipt coloumn of the Cash Book has been overcast by Rs 1000.
2. Cheques amounting to Rs 3760 entered in the Cash Book as paid into the
Bank have not yet been cleared.
3. Cheques issued amounting to Rs 5230 have not been presented.
4. Discount allowed of Rs 110 has been included by mistake in the bank
coloumn of the Cash
book.
5. A traders credit not of Rs 290 was received in June 1995, but not
recorded in the books.
6. A cheque for Rs 100 originally issued in 1994 was replaced when invalid
and entered again in the cashbook, it was still outstanding (and not invalid)
on june 30, 1995. both cheques were included
in the total of unpresented cheques amounting to Rs 5230.
7. The Bank has charged the No. 2 Account erroneously with a cheque for Rs
2000. This should have been charged to No. 1 Account.
You are required to
1. Make the appropriate adjustment in the cash book balance.
2. Prepare a Bank Reconciliation Statement to show the bank balance as per
No. 1 Account.

Thank you soo much sir i was doing a question I brainstorm on that like 2 days nd the balances did not match. After watching your lecture i do that again nd the mistake i was making is i was ignoring bank charges... i know anyone can solve ... i m an expert in solving BRS but see how i was making mistake again nd again like bank charges anyone can find it ... From now on i will not think that i m an expert bcoz the experts may omit the childish entries like bank charges...! Then I thought that i should watch a lecture on RUclips nd your video comes up Thanks sir...
