  • Today I install a set of 2 Jack Customs sequential turn signals on the Ecotec Miata. While I’m at it I finally replace that sad old bumper with a nicer one!

    Dude those are so sick. I’ve seen them all over Instagram and didn’t know how well you could see them in person. I recently picked up a Miata too and am excited to start a series on it. I left a like on the video!!

      Chris Meard thank you so much! they’re much brighter than stock, definitely a major upgrade over the stock almost 30 year old halogens!

    I've been thinking of importing the same product, so this video was really helpful! From MIATA fan in Japan.

    man i love these lights, can't wait for them to get shipped out to me. they said up to a 7 day production time and up to 7 days to get shipped out but it'll be well worth it imo.

    Looks like you have a dead LED on the driver side. Are you going to be returning them? If so do let me know if they accept them back

      Joseph Bonano I realized that after I had everything filmed unfortunately. However, they are sending me a left side indicator light free of charge as a replacement for the one with the dead LED

      @@cartermaneki That's awesome! you should get some new headlights to match those drls, I think that would be sick. The Auxbeam white/Amber Halos are my personal favorite.

      Joseph Bonano I’m planning on it! Quite a few options considering a lot of Jeep Wrangler headlights work on these

      dang! I didn’t realize they discontinued these, that’s really unfortunate. I don’t personally know anybody trying to get rid of theirs but “Rare and Vintage Miata Parts” on Facebook is an excellent page for that kind of stuff.

      Gonna be honest with you, the car hasn't driven much since this install, but from sitting in the garage for this long they've held up great!

    Great video, bro! Looks sick! I just got the 2jackcustoms kit. How did you connect the loop wire to the alternator?

    • @cartermaneki
      @cartermaneki  4 года назад +1

      I had to replace the loop connector on the turn signals because it didn’t fit my ecotec alternator. I just removed the nut on my alternator and sandwiched the connector on. You shouldn’t have to replace the connector if you have a stock 1.6 or 1.8

    How is this plug and play?

    • @cartermaneki
      @cartermaneki  3 года назад

      At the time of making this video they used splice connectors, which I'm not the hugest fan of. I eventually added plugs to mine for a more OE installation. Since then 2JackCustoms has switched over to a plug as well.

    • @cartermaneki
      @cartermaneki  4 года назад

      oscar pinto the set in this video took maybe 2 or 3 weeks to come to Pennsylvania. After the video 2JackCustoms reached out to me and replaced the set free of charge due to one of the LEDs not working. Unfortunately for me it got stuck in Lithuanian customs for almost 5 months but I eventually got it. This wasn’t the fault of 2JackCustoms, they were very good about the whole situation.
