You need to get a load handler from harbor freight it's the tarp system with a crank to unload mulch, stone,firewood, leaves whatever try it out be safe my friend thanks Rocco from Connecticut

That's why I let my trailer shop add the sides and barn gate to the ez dump, it wasn't much more than him doing a wood box for me. I'm a 67 yr. old female and landscape.

Ok I had no idea you made this box. I honestly thought it was like a kit you bought from like a lawn care equipment company made for trucks for leaves and debris pick up. You do amazing work! Very Resourceful, which is the best way to be specially to save money for things that are far more important to expanding your business. The leaf box honestly looked like something you’d buy not something you engineered yourself. I call myself the woman macgyver cause when my husband needs something and we don;t have it or it’s not something you can buy I search The Whole house inside and out until I figure out something that works. Example my daughter’s birthday party just a few weeks ago and we have a gazebo outback we built but had no sunshade yet on it. It was 100°+ and i’m like we NEED shade so my husband said idk what to tell you we haven’t gotten the sunshade yet. I’m like well let’s try this first (didn’t work) then the 💡 came on and I said what about the water proof canvas I have for painting?we can just cut little holes in it and zip tie it to the top of the gazebo wood so we did it and wham bam thank you ma’am it worked we had shade and everyone had a great time at our little birthday get together for my daughter it worked so well we left it on ....then a few days later the wind decided to be a dickhead and we had gusts of like 15-20mph and the canvas started ripping and I had to climb on a ladder and carefully take the zip ties off and not let it blow off at the same time in the middle of the night. I got it done and didn’t;t have to wake my husband who had work at like 4am so it was like a win-win-lose-kinda win? 😂

Great video's!!! Try jacknifeing your rig to unload so your trailer will be some what out the way and still connected but that might take up to muck space
8:01 i had an idea for a leaf extractor. probably impossible... but if somehow could have ryobi electric blowers , or really any type, piped into the truck bed floor and rear of the box, wired together and sealed up good with the air current pathway directing outside the rear , could activate while pulling slightly forward. who knows if it will work or not.This could automate thousands of hours for people though, and also save one's back/lungs.
If I'm not mistaken, I by that you can remove the 3-4 bolts off the pull rope on the motor and turn it 180 degrees so there's no obstruction when trying to start. This is what I've experienced in the past.
it will work with mulch and soil if not over loaded. for leaves it will work if the leaves are not mulched up but if you use a debri loader it wont work to good. ruclips.net/video/KsJPCoYHfwE/видео.html I show it in action in this video.
Maybe I’ll get lucky since it will be smaller loads. Only $40 bucks so it’ll be worth it for little loads of gravel and mulch lol the “load handler” may do better though it’s under $200 looks sturdier

Nice set up. I recently purchased a Cyclone rake and built a leaf box on my trailer. I originally planned on just using it for my lawn, but I’m going to offer a curbside service in my neighborhood. I plan on operating the system similar to you. What diameter tube do you have connecting the Cyclone rake to the box? I still need to purchase that tube, then I‘ll pretty much be complete.
Ok so a few things be on the lookout for an old parking lot blower that has a metal impeller blade you will need it because it will chop up the leaves better and it will be able to handle the abuse im not sure what the diameter of the hose on is but I will check it out and let you know I will have a video coming up on all of this in the near future because we are getting setup for leaf season now.

Ok guys, I'm female and prefer Home Depot. Can find what I need quickly and better prices. While I'm too disabled now to do all the work I once did, I did a lot of repairs and new builds when younger. Dad may sure all us kids, male and female, could do repairs just as Mom made sure we could all do housework and cook. They raise 4 self sufficient children.

Everyone makes the mistake of plywood on outside of truck it should be on the inside so the 2x4 supports the weight of pushing out. They way you have it the screw is the only thing holding the plywood on. Plus it makes for a smooth surface inside. I'm sure leaves won't do anything but I like being safer not sorry

Idk if that’s true I’ll look it up after this video is over but my husband mentioned it to me once after he heard from somewhere. Like a a beard this through a video and didn’t bother to research it well cause at that moment in time it didn’t matter if it was true or not but if it is or isn’t either way it’s a funny story.

You thought about putting a bed unloader. From Harbor freight for like 40 bucks. If I get 90% of the leafs out real fast.

I learned a lot from my dad and working at a factory when I was younger but most of it I have learned out of necessity while in business

Thats correct we had to rotate the pull start on the vac. I to that on my mowers as well so that I can start then easier in the trailer
