Congratulations on getting the box built and making things happen. You should start speaking at conferences. Maybe even write a small book about what you've learned over the years being in business for yourself.

Ok I had no idea you made this box. I honestly thought it was like a kit you bought from like a lawn care equipment company made for trucks for leaves and debris pick up. You do amazing work! Very Resourceful, which is the best way to be specially to save money for things that are far more important to expanding your business. The leaf box honestly looked like something you’d buy not something you engineered yourself. I call myself the woman macgyver cause when my husband needs something and we don;t have it or it’s not something you can buy I search The Whole house inside and out until I figure out something that works. Example my daughter’s birthday party just a few weeks ago and we have a gazebo outback we built but had no sunshade yet on it. It was 100°+ and i’m like we NEED shade so my husband said idk what to tell you we haven’t gotten the sunshade yet. I’m like well let’s try this first (didn’t work) then the 💡 came on and I said what about the water proof canvas I have for painting?we can just cut little holes in it and zip tie it to the top of the gazebo wood so we did it and wham bam thank you ma’am it worked we had shade and everyone had a great time at our little birthday get together for my daughter it worked so well we left it on ....then a few days later the wind decided to be a dickhead and we had gusts of like 15-20mph and the canvas started ripping and I had to climb on a ladder and carefully take the zip ties off and not let it blow off at the same time in the middle of the night. I got it done and didn’t;t have to wake my husband who had work at like 4am so it was like a win-win-lose-kinda win? 😂

8:01 i had an idea for a leaf extractor. probably impossible... but if somehow could have ryobi electric blowers , or really any type, piped into the truck bed floor and rear of the box, wired together and sealed up good with the air current pathway directing outside the rear , could activate while pulling slightly forward. who knows if it will work or not. This could automate thousands of hours for people though, and also save one's back/lungs.

No I dont have a business but I'm always watching and learning from pros. I live in the BA area in a nice subdivision and I think I'm one of the few people that does his own yard work. I hate leaf removal time.

Everyone makes the mistake of plywood on outside of truck it should be on the inside so the 2x4 supports the weight of pushing out. They way you have it the screw is the only thing holding the plywood on. Plus it makes for a smooth surface inside. I'm sure leaves won't do anything but I like being safer not sorry

I think the story behind Lowe’s and Home Depot is something like a married couple started Home Depot then split up and then the wife didn’t get any part of Home Depot so she started Lowe’s and thus Lowe’s is geared toward women and Home Depot is geared toward men.
Idk if that’s true I’ll look it up after this video is over but my husband mentioned it to me once after he heard from somewhere. Like a a beard this through a video and didn’t bother to research it well cause at that moment in time it didn’t matter if it was true or not but if it is or isn’t either way it’s a funny story.

They’re both OK, but Lowes usually has a better selection. Home depot was also a little bit liberal and weirdo. Lowes is a more American type moral company.

Hey Lee thanks for supporting the channel i Did not know that. I was more of referring to the what is in my opinion a poor lay out and what seems to be more fancy Pinterest type home upgrades. I go in and just want the nuts and bolts get the job done type stuff. not that Lowe's doesn't have that i just hate having to walk all way across the building to get screws when they should be right by the lumber.....but i suppose that comes down to market research on the most profitable layout...other big companies do it, so i can't blame them for doing it too.

i agreed, up to the political part 😂 and i've definitely had a better time with hardware fasteners and washers at lowe's. one of the things i like about hd: i get some of my toro 22's on clearance there. i almsot bought a timemaster 30 one year for 7 or 800, but didn't have enough cash available.

@@Pure_KodiakWILD_Power I dont know if you guys have an atwoods your way or not but that is a really good place to get hard ware they sell it buy weight and what would cost me $20 or $30 at lowes or home depot is only a few bucks......blows me away everytime. they are all good in the own way it just comes down to personal preference....just so you guys know though it was a joke kind of like ford vs chevy i bash them both and i own them both. I am super laied back and just about everything i say is all in fun! thank you both for your support of the channel you guys are AWESOME!!!
