- A video about the star-crossed lovers Heathcliff and Cathy from Emily Bronte's novel "Wuthering Heights". I used scenes from the adaptation with Timothy Dalton and Anna Calder-Marshall in the leading roles. Music: Listen To The Wind - Hayley Westenra (from The New World Score by James Horner)
I am not easily moved watching films,but this film reduced me to tears,especially the scene where Cathy lay on the bed and Heathcliff had his back to her, then turned to her in tears and with so much emotion, and they clung to each other,that really got to me. Brilliantly acted.

Dalton has been for me Heatcliff everytime. Except the first time I red the book and about 2 weeks after I saw this movie. Timothy is perfect Heathcliff. . Everytime I read the book I imagine him as Heathcliff.
First time I've watched this video Wuthering Heights was the first time I'd seen Timothy Dalton and I was blown away. He's my favourite actor and this is my favourite film.
Timoty Dalton is the best Heathclff and the best Rochester.

I've seen many versions of WH & without any doubt in my opinion this is the best version.Somewhat different to the original novel but none the less a very good movie with brilliant acting.Congrats to all involved in the making of this wonderful movie & to whoever posted this clip.Thanks.

Calder was a very wispy, beautiful woman for this role, perfect to me; they matched each other throughout the film, could not have a better duo to me.

Timothy Dalton was Heathcliff for me. Did the book for my O level english lit. Cathys character did frustrate me somewhat.

it's a very nice Video! i think the character of Catherine doesn't really match with the actress..she seems to be too "smooth" and girly for that Cathy in my mind...but honestly i can see only kate Bush as her, anyone else??:D although i've read the Novel and watched several movies... but I still prefer kate Bush as Catherine...
