- With only a small under seat fuel tank as standard, more petrol is needed especially here in Australia, if you wish to cover greater distances. What's the best way to carry extra fuel? There's no single 'best way' it's whatever works best for you. Here's how I solved the problem.
Yes I know I say litres instead of kilometers. Bugger.
200 liters. That would be interesting to see. 😆
Lovely idea, and it looks good on the bike.
Thanks John, that was one of the first videos I made, thankfully now I'm a lot less self conscious talking to the camera. This youtube stuff is harder than most people realise...
That is a great setup. I really like it. Thank you for the video..
Thanks Edward much appreciated.
Nice setup
Thanks, it gets well used that's for sure.
I like it a lot. Thank you.
Thank you too!
This was supposed to be a boring video.
No. I was wrong. It's interesting.
I've been encountering so many videos that are nothing more than a waste of time, my mind default mode is "another crap video".
Anyway, the extra fuel tank is excellent, except on the new ones, which we don't get in Europe anyway, doesn't work. The fuel would have to be routed to the primary tank so the pump could feed the injector.
Interesting panniers you have.
You're right regarding keeping the weight low. On a lightweight motorcycle such as yours, once you load the panniers, you feel how the balance of the bike changes... a lot. First trip I did with me panniers... the first day was a learning day.
Now, on top of that, another case with the lighter stuff. Those little engines will take you anywhere, just don't be in a rush. 😄
Thanks for watching & taking the time to leave a comment, greatly appreciated. The new CT125 is no longer available in Oz due to the govt insisting all new bikes have dual channel ABS.
@@Free_Ranger_CT110 We don't have that, yet. But the Euro5 crap took many motorcycles from us. The CT being one.
