Our friend Fraser at Driftworks had this 'fixer upper' for sale and we decided it would make a great drift taxi for our events (Drift Games Bash etc.) so we headed to the UK and picked up the 1JZ-powered Toyota RWD. The government gave us our trailer entitlement back on our lisence a few mobths ago to free up instructors due to a so called shortage of lgv drivers...

Congrats on your new Verosa Dave. That is also one of my dream cars, I don't know why since it is ugly stock. But all done up properly with good aero and nice wheels and a proper stance mated with a strong motor and drive train and it will turn into a good looking bad ass drift taxi, or whatever build that you fancy.

i think they are cool. i went drifting in Japan and there was one in the Mountains with all the gauges You can have and Screens. the engine Sounds so good

That’s so cool!! While doing the cooling mods I would definitely pull the engine and replace the pressed in fittings for the heater matrix pipes. I’ve had one pop out of my 1J and not worth the risk of that on track/drifting!

17:24 😮😮😮 the Verossa got me going "oooh", BUT then i saw that Pajero Evo in the background, best car out of the whole video hands down, dont care what anyone says 😂😂i own a LWB NJ 3ltr N/A V6 Pajero with a stump pulling 100kw motor (134hp), straight through exhaust, loves a good pop 'n' crackle, spits fire at night on downshifts 🤣🤣🤣 but mine is of the same generation and body, just not as fancy looking as the Evo and mine is ALOT slower 😅 and im too poor to do her up, been wanting to LS swap mine but got no reliable or real mates let alone a stable income to be able to have the luxury to build her 🤣🤣🤣 life hey....

I actually like Verossa's but I own a G35 sedan and they seem very similar. Never have seen one in the states but would love to drift one. 👌

Verossa's are cool, its just an Is200 or JZX110 with a different body on it, literally the same car under, all suspension from an is200 or is300 will fit and be straight bolt on. so you'll have plenty of spares

Verossa is the king of people asking what's that? With the low production numbers they had I think they'll be appreciated (along with the mkII) as sort of the last affordable JZ platform in coming years.

Basically making a drift version of the apex taxi m3. Please do it better so that the seats can be used with their padding for example. Falken drift team have had an e39 drift taxi for years too.
I guessed Toyota Verossa...and it was one. xD I know people think they're ugly, but I find it quite funky. I also like Lancia's Thesis, so I may be in the minority here.
