Something a little different today
Here we are fixing a wing mirror on the Seat Ibiza Fr and what a pain it is you have to remove the whole door card and the door handle to even get the door card off all of this to replace the mirror which someone decide to hit it and not leave a note
this will all be part of the upcoming Videos to the channel and in the last video will be a detailed spend on the car to get it back to a nice finish ready to be sold.

Brilliant video thanks. Luckily I watched it until the end because I've had to replace just the n/s mirror and was dreading taking the door card off to get to it! It is possible to replace the mirror without cutting any wire's. Thanks so much.

I want to isolate parts of the door. Do i need to remove the whole panel or can i just do bits of it en then isolat it?
Thanks for the vid. Bit confused whether i need to take door card/panel out or not after watching til the end. I have chipped the black plastic at the front/bottom of mirror so think i need whole new mirror. Will i need to pull off that whole panel like youve done or can i just do it from the outside like you described at the end? Cheers mate!
You should be able to do it as I described at the end mate
Surly you didn’t have to take off the panel to replace door mirror?
Yeah there is no need to do that. Waste of time honestly. You just need to 1 screw of, remove the mirror itself and then the mirror cover. Then just unplug it and done!!
@SNapRicardo appreciate your comment we had to reattach wires which is why we had to remove the door card and glass, but you are correct 1 screw
@@lbmotors01 yeah for that you need to do it all 😅 I changed both today because the mecanism to fold the mirrors was not engaging. Now one is faster to fold than the other and I dont know if its supposed to be like this or not 😂
To take off the door card u don’t have to take the window out?

Why would you name the video
' wing mirror replacement' when you don't actually show how you replaced the wing mirror ? All you showed was how to remove the door panel. Bit of a misleading title.
If you watched the video to the end we explain we had to take door panel off as someone snipped the wires so had to replace connector but there is a bolt holding the mirror on externally 👍🏻 thanks for you comment
@@lbmotors01 I did watch to the end, I was waiting for you to show how you fixed the mirror problem but you just showed the finished mirror without showing how you actually fixed it. Thanks for the reply anyway 😁
