@@bradfraser8984 I managed to get it done without too much trouble, I did notice after and still there is an odd clicking sound at certain times, when turning or setting off. Not figured it out to this day but had no issues. Thank you.
@@GT.Bugger i get a slight clickity clack when maneuvering at really low speed, I'm torn between wheel bearing and CV joint but in other tests they both appear fine. I'm not sure it it is related but I get a bit of a rotational bounce in the car as if a wheel is bent or tyre misshapen while cruising. It is really perplexing me as I just can't pin it down. There is relatively no shake or wobble in the steering wheel.
can i ask please Why disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the PCV valve and turn off the Check Engine bulb? And if his knee is running a check bulb in the engine?
The problem, my dear. When I disconnect the hose (Lee) from the crankcase ventilation winding. Extinguishing I have a Bulb Check Engine. In the Mercedes ML350.
Are those the correct torque for the hub bolt? I was under the impression 12 point was a torque and 180° turn and 6 point with washer was a different torque and different angle?
Ball joint is toast
good info will use TKS
Maybe don't use copper anti seize because of the magnetic tone ring on the hub. Use ceramic paste or Aluminum anti seize.
Thank you for the valuable clarification, for our viewers it will be very useful information
When removing the bolts on lower controll arm 16mm socket 3 of them they just keep spinning I have no impact gun help
Going to attempt this myself. As I refuse to pay over 400 quid to have a garage do it. Doesn't seem too bad.
Howd you get on?

@@obiitom yeah it's hard to pin point tbh. I can't see anything it could be and don't appear to have any issues.

Good👍👍👍
No, not that music (it got muted)
The music is ridiculous and adds nothing to the video. I turned off after a minute.

It is not possible to answer your question unambiguously, this information you can find in the technical documentation for the repair of your car.
This is not a 7 min job 😢
Thank you for your comment. You are absolutely right, with a normal replacement, it can take more than 7 minutes.
More like 7 hours for me
