The other rifle with a strap looks like a limited production China Lake Grenade Launcher , developed for Naval Special Warfare during the Vietnam debacle . Only 13 were built . It was a muti shot pump version of the M79 launcher , affectionately known as the bloop gun (vintage Gung Ho came with one ),for 40mm grenades . The other pistol on the thigh , is a 1911 style with an extended barrel , and recoil compensator at the tip , for more accurate follow up shots . Also , the sculpting indicates a flared mag well to facilitate faster magazine changes . Again , attention to detail is really good , let's hope Hasbro maintains this trajectory . And , let's hope they didn't include whoever's advising them on bang bangs , in their latest round of lay offs. Tanks again , T
he's possibly my fav classified figure so far. there's also joe headquaters on the box. probably means we're getting haslab joe hq instead of the flagg 🥴
There's a channel (I think it's DestroIsMySpiritAnimal) that goes over the windowless boxes. Each box has an easter egg in the background that pertains to their main episode in the cartoon or their main issue in the comic. Too bad we're about to lose that with the windows coming back.
chill review bro I especially appreciate the demo scene, and comparisons as an 82 early adopter, my perspective on the lore - story is that it s Hawk vs Cobra Commander like Batman vs Joker, miss one, and you have... nothing. Serpentor CC is the one who has the money, it s pretty much his Doberman... with the mind of the 10 best warriors s genetics combined into a genetic mammal robot anyways, I m broke, live in a small place, and need to stick with an elite Joe team a la 'A team - mission impossible,' and only essential Cobras, so had to ditch the extra baggage... my CC cant afford Serpy anymore... Hawk I got him lately, I m quite comforted to have both now I mostly wanted the 82 Colonel version, but this one rocks I only picky collect 3 lines, Joes, legends, Indy, and mixing figs is a blast, Indy dates Elsa, Col Toth works for Cobra, retro ironman helps Hawk, 4 different little scenes, lots of fun and action, D good show bro
Pistol looks to be a Beretta 8000 "Cougar" in 9mm , sporting an extended 20 round magazine .(Over the flush fitting 15 rounder) The shotgun appears to be either an HK Benelli or a Beretta 1301 , semi-auto 12 gauge . I'm going with it's a 1301 and Hawk likes his Italian firearms . This kind of attention to detail is commendable, considering the Roadblock "giant salad fork" of just a few years ago ! .👏 Now if we could only get accessories with the appropriate amount of rigidity , alá Action force stuff . Although Hasbro is getting better . Hawks gear included . Fantastic release , Imo . Thanks T .
The Roadblock giant salad fork was because the early classified figures were based on a previous GI Joe game and not RAH. I have no problem with it but I almost wish they would just do separate lines like how they do with Transformers.
@@markschemers3132 JMO , here ... salad fork looked stupid . Rule #1(for me) : GI Joe isn't Star Wars . Never even heard of the game , but for me same rule applies. So to me , game included , it just looks like people who hate certain inanimate objects were given charge of a military line , and would do anything to make franchise into to something it's not. And it showed . It looks like course correction has taken place . (Next up: people who hate cats , take charge of cat fancy magazine)🤣 And keep in mind , one doesn't have to be a gun geek to benefit from and appreciate Joe weapons that look authentic or at least somewhat plausible , instead of mock Dr.Who ray guns looking like they were designed by someone in the 70's , attempting to be "futuristic" . And going forward the big salad fork should be left in the buffet @ your local Sweet Tomatoes. Where it belongs. 🙂
They actually have done separate lines. The snake eyes movie was separate. We also have the card back. And I believe every store exclusive is supposed to be a separate line as well. There are a ton of people separating tigerForce from the regular stuff

I love that they put the star on the helmet. That’s a direct nod to the comic when Gijoe first invaded Springfield. Love it
Your 80's voice over is pure joy!

Yeah. I'm not sure if the back of mutt and junk yards box has anything like that

Gave me S&W M&P vibes and yes much better than the earlier nerf guns
@@mcrmaza S&W M&P ? Hmmm...um , budget cuts ???😋

With the helmet off, anyone else thinks he looks a bit like Anson Mount from Star Trek Stange New Worlds?
A first-rate review of Hawk and his cool accessories!
Thanks

I had to send my first copy back to Amazon as defective, similar issues with the shoulder and bicep swivel. 2nd copy was better
That's lucky

I just wish they would deepen the backpack hole and lower it a smidge on his back, so they w it would fit the backpacks better
