I've personally always thought the chain was Hawk ->Stalker -> and then the top-level operators: Snake Eyes, Scarlett, Rock n' Roll and Grunt (basically the four who were present for the helicopter crash that burnt Snake Eyes, as per the comics that particular group were conducting multiple ops under Hawk very early in G.I. Joe's existence). Whatever rank she was supposed to be Scarlett is also up there in the G.I. Joe chain as she could give SE and Rn'R orders per the comics (that SE promptly ignored, of course).
Hawk is a MUST HAVE!!! He certainly looks Great...Hasbroes got this one right (Thankfully!!!) Great stuff as usual!!! I am patiently waiting for the Retro Scarlett, Duke and Cobra Commander!!! Those are my most Wanted at the moment!!!! Yo Joe!!! Peace!!!

This Hawk is definitely a solid and well done figure, but I’m definitely one of the folks that prefer the O13 look. Hopefully, he’s in the pipeline. Otherwise, a really solid review as usual. Great job!
Sculpt and decco look superb. I'm unsure about the new shoulder set up. I'd like a re release of Lt Falcon. Without the Team America face. Maybe on a retro card with some alternative accessories?

Bobby, General Hawk is my Hawk. Keeping the goggles on his helmet is his best look. I would like Grand Slam and his JUMP platform and jet pack. I am hoping that's who is on the packaging art. Great review.✌️

That weird loose butterfly joint might actually just be a ring like the McFarlane figures do. The Big Ben figure has arms like a McFarlane figure and it has like a buffer ring to allow the arm to move as if it has butterfly joints without having a huge gap. Thats what it looks like Hawk has here.

Twins glove hands. Hmm. Just needed different hands from Duke? I’m surprised he didn’t get a pointing finger alternate hand. Cobra Commander got one. I’m liking his over all look. I do want the 013 Hawk blonde hair in all. Eventually. I’m excited to get Hawk but honestly Hasbro Pulse doesn’t have to be in a hurry to fill my preorder.
Just got this figure and now I have to return it. One of the arms has a big gap between the should and the biceps and there is no way to get it attack property or look normal. If I am dropping 30 euro (around 32.5 USD) a figure I don't want them to have major defects.
I am very excited to get Hawk. I hope they do make his OG13 version. They teased about making the MMS, which would be TOO EASY to include Hawk with it since he originally came with it. Use the Stalker body and web gear, new blond head and an M16 and you’re there. General Hawk looks great, though. Him having the American flag on his left shoulder does bug me, though. Overall, I am very stoked to get him.
The Colonel rank bothers me and I wish it came with gloved and ungloved hands. He isn't perfect to me, but it's not that far off. I'm still buying two. Great review!
This “high command” was made up of the arbitrary choices from the bananas team at Sunbow. In the comics, Hawk was clearly the leader (from the jump), with Stalker, Duke, and occasionally Flint serving leadership positions as well.
Sorry for the late response, but I just got mine today. Couple things: Face sculpt is great, maybe a tiny bit heavy on the pink for the lips but much better than the horror show that is Falcon and even better than Grunt. Dig that they give options for the goggles buuuuut making the helmet big enough to fit over the goggles means it's a little loose when they aren't on his face. Helmet is also a bit gummy, as well, though that may just be a personal nitpick. Other than that, great figure, and we are up to about half the OG 13 now, right? With a proper Scarlett and Clutch in the chute. Life is good.

I just got hawk earlier today and set up the scene with Hawk, Duke, Flint and Beachhead where Flint gets into a argument with Beachhead about the chain of command and says to him first comes Hawk then Duke then me then finally you 😂
This is the first Classified figure I've actually considered cancelling my pre-order, and paying more to get it now from Ebay. I think it looks awesome. I grew up with both versions, but General Hawk is the best. My only complaint is with the helmet. It looks too cartoonish. I've already bought a 1:12 PASGT helmet with goggles for him, I'm just waiting on the figure.
Hey question. Does his arms pop out easily? Or is yours in there tight and secure? It's a thing going around. I just curious to find out if it is BS. Cause Snowjob and Ben have the same and there in their good. don't pop out at all. I'm hoping the claim someone is making isn't true.
A legit bummer that Hawk follows snow job & snow serpent with McFarlane style shoulders with gap covers vs actual butterflies. Weak. He does look great, though.

I have him his Gridiron loadout. It looks cool! I like the old school revolvers and machine gun! The loadout helmet looks good as well.

If you want to minimise the look of the split fingers just hold the hand over a boiling kettle to move the 3rd finger down to match the others.

Everyone keeps saying Tomax and Xamot hands, Storm shadow had them first. They are bow pulling fingers.

They are not stormshadow hands, SS has the gloves with the padding. These are the twins hands.

These shoulders suck. I have stress marks on the one trying to get it to go up. Not happy with this figure.
Helmet looks crap, he needs the ww2/Vietnam era helmet for the General Patton look
