Thanks for taking the time to do a full range test!
No problem
Honestly, pretty impressive range given the weight, hill climb, max speed, etc.
It is considering how fast it is
I think so too. I figured he wouldn't get more than 20. Not bad.
Going as fast as you can most of the time and you still get 29 miles, that's pretty good. I have a Ninebot and with mix riding I get around 20 miles. Honestly after 15 to 20 miles of riding, it becomes tiresome, wearisome and I just want to go home and relax. So 29 miles is great really. I don't think most people will ride 29 miles everytime they take out the scooter lol. Great review. My next upgrade scooter will either be the Emove Cruiser or this Phantom V2, hard choice lol.
Yeah lots of good choices, the Varla eagle one is another but I haven’t had a chance to play with that either.
So good to get to work and back? Nice I can charge it at work
Is it your daily? How is it holding up? Did you get the V2 upgrades? I test rode the V1 with upgrades and mechanical and hydraulic brakes
I don't have a daily, this one is my favorite from all the ones I have so far. I did get the V2 upgrades but haven't installed them yet. I have the mechanical brakes, hydraulic brakes are the way to go though, unfortunately it was sold out when I was preordering at the time.
@@landpet you might want to install the bracket due to the V1 braking.. when I test rode the phantom someone brought theirs in because the neck snapped
@@JustNel Yeah, I definitely should do it sooner than later.
Wow. I am also the same combined weight. How is the sluggishness uphill? My experience is scooters are at a slow crawl. What do you think the difference is between this and the ghost
This is faster both top speed and acceleration. This is very good uphill
bruh I just got my phantom v2 yesterday and the thing literally roars at the hills, no sluggishness at all idk about the ghost though man ive only ever tried the explore and the phantom
I'm 235 lb, and I'm trying to decide between the Vsett 10+ 25 Amp, or the Apollo Phantom. Anyone have suggestions either way?
I've been riding the Phantom, and I think the Vsett 10+ might be the slightly better scooter from what I've seen and read, mainly because of the suspension. Thinking it might be my next scoot.
I wonder how far you could get at gear 1 dual motor mode. 70 miles perhaps?
I don't think I can go that far, I would guess around 40 miles if I was in 1 and non sport mode. It would help if I was lighter as well.
About 30-35 miles in speed mode 1 depending on wind, hills, and the ambient temperature. As it gets colder outside, the range of all EVs drops considerably.
I looked into the 60 volt model but I think it would eat up the battery faster. It has a larger set of Motors at 1200 watts each but only goes about 4 mph faster top end. I don't really want to ride over 40 miles an hour anyway. Really I don't like to ride over 30 to be honest. I like to take my time because I'm in my 60s. But I'm in good shape and I intend to live up my second childhood while I'm still young! Now wear them old ladies? Now that I made you laugh I just wanted to say thank you for the review. I have a great Sony Bluetooth speaker I'm going to hang on the handlebars. It comes with a lot of lights of course which would be nice to ride at night! scooters make me feel like a child again only now I'm in the future and I can do whatever the hell I want!
Amen
what are the max speeds for mode 1,2 and 3?
35KM / 45KM / 63KPH is the max speed for me
18, 30, 40 MPH
Hi, my phantom reduces performances at about 47 volts. Did you experience that?
Mine just reduces performance when the battery is low like under 10% or so. I didn’t check the voltage levels.
@landpet how do you check percentage?
@@landpet how do you know what percentage your battery is at?
That’s great mileage whos honestly going to go for trips over 30 miles on a scooter I’m not taking it on the highway lol easily can get all over my city with that if i needed
Yeah it's very good.
Is this v1 or V2 version?
V1, however they are going to ship out the V2 upgrades in the next few weeks so I can install them and make it a V2.
@@landpet hey i was thinking to getr one of this, but still undecided which one to get the ghost or the phantom V2,which one you thing is better is gonna be my first e-scooter!
There is a phantom v2 out now.
Yup, they just shipped my v2 upgrade parts. It was a free upgrade for v1 folks like me
Awesome video , do you think i can make 40km with a average speed lf 30khm ? Sub
Depending on your weight but if you’re around my weight or less than I would say you easily can as long as they are not just straight uphills the entire time. Thanks for subbing!
@@landpet im 120 lbs :)
..until the neck breaks. Careful with that deathtrap-flawed scooter. Ride safe!
Thanks for the heads up, waiting for the V2 parts which should address the issue
Yea hard pass
@@landpet are they shipping you a new frame? because that is the issue, they have made the neck support thicker which still wont completely fix the issue considering the angle is all wrong, be safe brother
@@Sheisintomalakasdino which scooter is best?b I'm lookingb at buying one. thanks
