Very good video, I believe all new riders should start with a 125/250 bike to learn proper cornering. I've seen a lot of people jump straight into 600cc inline 4 too soon and couldn't really run their bike. Yea eventually they can ride, but the skills is just enough. They can't keep up with me in a 250 bike on twisty road.
@@jamie123b Ohh nice to know, here in Southeast Asia (Indonesia) that kind of tiering was only applied few months back. Before, there was no tiering - once you get license basically you can even jump straight into a superbike!
I've got one of these and couldn't ever imagine it going over that far. Not sure if I'm too big, my tyres aren't quite right or if I'm just too chicken (and this is after 2 years and about 18,000 miles of riding)
almost got my kneee down today on a left hand turn on my lexmoto venom which is made of cheese and the tyres are made of flip flops. it felt twitchy as hell but it worked!
Really enjoyed watching that ....not having a bike at mo with kids n stuff ....I mite aswell put the ktm1290 off till I really can aford it ....and buy a cheep 125 and have some fun ....this hide has inspired me to ride again ....
When I get my r125 low in starts like wobbling a little and feeling unstable, dont know whether it's the road or just the inexperience as the tyres have lots of tread.
@@eldelchristianto I'm going try again tonight but someone said to me if you put all your weight through your arms it will translate to your handlebars and make it unstable so you should hold the bike with your legs
whitey 24 Cheers buddy☺️ He's actually stopped doing videos 🙈 Real loss to the Motovlogging community🙊 He explained his situation on his Instagram mate☺️
Did you ever get pulled over for not displaying L plates? im about to buy mu first bike Yzr r125, L plates on the front look like garbage, people say its 3points off license+60£ fine per each L plate not displayed. I dont mind rear ones ...help?
What I always express to people is dont follow what I do lmao the laws on it as you say are exactly that and genuinely it all comes down to how the police are like around you, in my view as long as your not a douche and ride around on the limiter all day long I dont think they'd mind.. But all it takes is one officer to feel like an arse on a monday morning to ruin it all 🤷♂️😕 Cheers for watching fella!
What tyres do you have, they have a fucking nice grip. I use Pirelli Angel CT's and they are true garbage, whenever I lean my bike they are losing grip and it scares me the fuck out.
hell yeah!! i aint even gonna try it on the cbr, wheels are wayyyy to skinny and ill just fall sideways. the centre of gravity and shit is so wrong woth my tall ass on top
Matt Beardshaw Never again for me, once too many times I think😂😂 Can see how badly I shat myself even scraping the toe slider🙉😂 Unfortunately my balls aren't big enough for this🙉😂
I'm going to reply to this as others may read it. The CBR having thinner wheels actually makes it easier to lean over due to the fulcrum, a skinny tyre actually lends to greater leans with less effort. You'll actually have the same contact patch of tyre to ground. The key is very decent tyres and oodles of confidence. If you have no confidence in the tyres, you'll have no confidence in the bike and you'll have no confidence in the procedure. Keep at it (Ideally on a track...Or a quiet roundabout at least ;) ) and remember that most of it is about positioning your body. If you get the position right, the bike naturally follows. Also, try to keep the throttle even when trying this, calm, slow inputs otherwise you'll low side.
PAPA SEATZ I wouldn't advice it tbh.. all depends what the police are like in your area🙈 They don't mind round here as long as your not a douche red lining it everywhere🤷♂️😂
AndiDoesMotovlogging you see I have a friend who has said the same thing and they have only the one L plate, I really want to just put a tinted windscreen on my r125 as it looks sick
AndiDoesMotovlogging ahah thanks man, btw I'm loving it vids and the group of 125s u ride with I'm sick of 1000s flying by me ahah makes me feel so depressed
I have been on my KTM RC125 for over a year. Back L plate only. Never had any bother. I think if you ride with some degree of sense, then Dibble will let it go.

You have to start on a 125 in the uk as you have to do CBT training before any bike test which allows only up to 125 on L plates

def not cuz of the tires. cbr125 has really tiny tyres

:)
dont be scared of falling, just do it like flow like a river. trust me if you can get the momentum; ure not gonna fall
