When inspired by the season and its colours I tend to want to shoot stylized portrait shoot. There is no concrete idea when we start, just an idea. When onsite it becomes a play off a feeling or a mood taken from the model. As much as this is a conceptual shoot, it is left open to evolve as the shoot continues. The original idea came from a sugar skull and a smoke grenade.
Take a moment and walk with me and see what became of the simple sugar skull and grenade. The evolution of the idea, site and our model Keshani made this something that felt so effortless and allowed me to unleash the creativity inside me.
