Thanks for posting. Such valuable footage. Amazing to see him at that that stage, the talent and consistency shines through. Him just being himself and doing his thing is what makes him my GOAT. Viva Penny!
The first switch skating I saw was Andy Howell in The New Deal video back in 1991....Penny was definitely doing it smoother and higher than anyone else though
I was there just after it opened - everything looks right to say it was about 94. I remember seeing Mike Manzoori there - going so fast - so high 😂was sick.
His movements captured the 90s zeitgeist. Casual, inebriated, innovative, and graceful
Goddamn he looks good on a board. Best style in history, I'm voting for him. Definitely tightest pants he ever wore lol
Not even best UK style
@@catsploitationPfffffft 😂
Thank you for sharing that extremely important time in skateboard’s history
Greatest skateboarder to ever live

One of the best, yeah.
Penny in his prime. Epic.

What an experience that just was dammn
His style changed a lot in 1 year, more relaxed and confident.....skated everyday no doubt.
I can’t believe what is before my eyes
so good thank you for keeping this
INCREDIBLE stuff youre putting up !
Few people pushed switch in '94.
@need more reps confirmed
all we see today comes from people like penny and barbee, greathouse etc. this playfull style we see in suciu - incredible
So young and powerfull . .
The switch frontside flip at the end. HOW
Legend. So sick
My hometown, I skated radlandz a fair few times in my youth
To think this is '94... how quickly street skating took shape. 30 years later, looks just the same.
No one can touch Penny in his prime.
Is it just me or does his trucks look wayyy bigger than his board?
Almost every trick is a kick flip or a 180 flip

Imagine, this is 26 years ago already, switch and nollie wasn't even "a thing" back then... mindblowing

Switch and nollie was definitely a thing by 1990.
1994?really doubt that.
