I am not from those who criticise negatively Brother Yaks. Indeed he is a motivational speaker, and there will be People InShaALLAH that will change their lives for good with his effort. But I want to say something, I think that people should know from whom they are listening to. Nowadays, it is easy to be called Mufti this Mufti that, but a Mufti is the One that gives Fatwa. And to give a Fatwa, the person should study a lot of Uloom, only then he can be called so. Even the person that study the Uloom that are necessary, and he is not in the work of Ifta, so he should not be called Mufti. So, Brother Yaks should explain his life in Ilm and which institute of Darul Ifta he is giving Fatwa. I think that people deserve to know these things. Otherwise each one will play a video and will say I am Mufti this Mufti that, and the one that does this is betraying people and is a Zalim. And Zalim in Aslul Maana in Arabic as Brother Yaks knows if he has Uloom of Arabic, means the one that puts one thing in the place of another.

Ya akhee sagheer, be yourself, don’t imitate none in trying to speak, hide yourself from media, go and study, u r actually not ready, quit from using the term Mufty, that helps u in achieving ikhlas, even the one you are perhaps imitating is not qualified. Listen to those who advise politely okay my son ?
No brother we have a right to question whether you are a Mufti or not. That title is very significant as a mufti should have substantive knowledge such that they are able to give answers to matters of Islamic law. Even if you are doing good you can't just call yourself a mufti. Now you are using hadiths to stop us from questioning whether you are a mufti or not, this is definitely wrong. Even people like brother Mohammed hijab does not call himself mufti yet he does effective dawah. I for one definitely question whether you are using this title to gain recognition and fame
Aslm wrwb asking if an 18year old well spoken and good learned youth is a Mufti is a perfectly normal question ... a simple yes or no answer would have sufficed ... dont take it personal ...
U can do dawah without complete knowledge. U don't have to be a mufti to do dawah.
I do like ur messages. However, it would not be appropriate to call urself a mufti when ure not a mufti. It's perfectly reasonable for someone to ask if ure really a mufti when ure as young as u are.
We don't have to dig into where u got ur certificate or anything like that. All we need to know from u is, are u formally a mufti or not. If ure formally are a mufti, MashaAllah, for achieving that being as young as u are. If not, may Allah forgive u for promoting falsehood.

No disrespect, but if a question about the label "mufti" is unnecessary as you say, why do you insist on calling yourself mufti brother? ..... Who ever asked you that question was asking a valid question because no body in the entire world as young as yourself call themselves Mufti. Even scholars much older than you don't dare label themselves as Mufti.
I really admire you brother. And I like the message you spread, but I don't like the way you do it. It appears you're imitating sheikh mufti menk.
