I've heard from a few new players that Rogue is hard to play. It doesn't seem hard if you are a player with a ton of experience and know the ins and outs of the game, but it definitely has more barrier to entry than some other classes because they are so squishy and require a bit more knowledge on positioning and map layouts. I think they could re-work creep by making the footsteps much quieter, but not completely silent. This way you could potentially hear a Rogue still creeping up on you in a quieter environment so this would limit them more to ambushing when something else is going on rather than whenever they want. They could also nerf Stealth to allow less steps than 10, making the full invis mobility less mobile. This would make the window for landmining people smaller and require more finesse to pull off.
I just got around to seeing this comment. Just know I wanted nothing more than to make more lethal videos especially because of how well they were performing. It was hard trying to get everyone on to play, just a myriad of problems and reasons. Thank you so much for watching my content bianca, that means the world to me ❤️ I hope I can make future content that you might enjoy just as much as lethal company
depends majorly if solo or teams, in solos bards and druids (even arguably warlocks) should win fights vs rogue no questions asked, team rogue only shines if they really know what they are doing
I think if you invis and standing still then you good but if you move then you have ripples around you like predator, if you creeping then less ripples as obvious. If you are far away then you might not see ripples clearly. Also there should be footsteps heard based on the character's speed, stats based distance and vs the opponents stats/perception so some classes will do worse. Footsteps far away still can be muted to be very faint but still hearable if running and some what hearable if you walking closer and barely hearing it until you are like 10 ft away if you are creeping. Then to compensate for the nerf you make invis time buffed so if they really want to creep then they crawling up to you and have more time standing still. Plus if you stand still the timer slows until you move. If they notice is also based on stats vs stats /situation/proximity and movement. They just need to unbreak the class and make it viable with certain playstyle but not all playstyles where it steamrolls you with no counter because that's broken. Also maybe limited 3 slot throwable item tuning fork that breaks after 2 or 3 uses that can show ripples in 8 foot radius and partially take you out of shadows if you are caught moving. Throwing torch on hidden rogue means you cast a shadow for 1 secs. Then because footsteps got nerfed you add perk where you can move a bit faster creeping after you go invis for 7 secs or something so you can reposition easier while trying not to be heard. Any rash moves means smarter mobs can still agro and notice but then maybe add rogue smoke bomb that helps de-agro mobs(doesn't work on certain bosses/miniboss) and also hide ripples/muffles sound so you can sneak off to reset.
My argument against this is that there are other classes that are super busted as well. The combat is super short in time and there are a lot of fights that are just unfun.
I play ranger mostly, and as long as I keep my wits about me I can take a solo rogue. Door opens and no one is there? Triple shot/ cone shot at the doorway, to get them visible. Had some pretty good run-ins with rogues so far. The good ones though, there isn't much I can do. But they spend like 8 mins a match sitting and waiting, so who really is winning? (Them, they won and they took my jewelry) :(
I don’t think rogue is the biggest problem, sure in rogue main, but the biggest issue is they are working too slow, after one year druid came out, and ofc you can outplay him, but he cant go invisible, suer he can fly trough the whole room in 1,5 seconds, after that he can transform to panther and 2tap or 3 tap you, they are making same mistakes all the time, they added +all than removed it, than again added it bag and again remove 🤣 As a rogue main im playing a lot of other classes, but first i would remove stealth perk, you cant move invisible without steps, like wtf is that 🤣 If they will not start doing shit fast, people will go away
I think rogues in SINGLES are among the s tiers. In duo or triples i think they are B. They are good, but there is better things comp wise. Arguably the utility and power of the druid is just as toxic as landmine rogue. Or the infinite kite and heals of a warlock. Rogue isnt the only issue and it most definitely isnt the worst character balance wise.

These are amazing suggestions, those changes alone would tone down rogue by a lot, and it wouldn’t complete kill the class.
it's always funny when people complain that they can't just press (W) and win, or are asked to use situational awareness.
Druid is more of a problem than rogue
peepee are you done for good with the lethal company videos? i enjoyed those sm😞

not true if u run into a rogue that run rupture and weak point ur screwed bc all they gotta do is keep distance and then chase when you run
Get on your bard, I'll embarrass you on my rogue. What's your IGN?
Good vid keep up the good work
You’re the best
thx for that, rogues ruins game fun. bringing your best kit getting one shot, putting hydra every 10m . How scary is it to fall into landmines.
They play to their strengths, you need to play to yours

Would you say this is a bigger problem than playtest 2 rogues?
Never in the past PTs I was easily able to do 180-200dmg a hit
Not nearly as bad, but is still one of the strongest classes in the game rn

Finally someone that spits the truth. Rogue has a terrible design for this game

Hey man i hope your haveing a great day
I sure am broski! It’s good to see you man, same to you
rogue is top dog till you think you can all in a cleric

im warlock main and i kill rouges all the time invis bc of my hydra. 2 bolts of darkness in a 124 under kit to the head and dead
That's funny cause as a rogue main i kill warlocks all the time. Only time i have trouble is if i miss some headshots.
Sounds like it’s balanced
Rogue is such a problem rn
If they let rogue destroy the game again they deserve it. Player counts were as low as 5k just before steam release.
