I am from Jammu and Kashmir and there's another place known as Sudhmahadev. This place is important because there's an real shiv trishul. The history of this place says that there was a demon named Sudh once he saw Maa Parvati bathing from another mountain and then apparently Shiv ji saw him looking at mata Parvati from another mountain so he threw his trishul from that place and killed Sudh but after his death Shivji got to know that Sudh was his greatest devotee and he broke his trishul into pieces and left it there. Now if you visit Sudhmahadev you can see Shivji's trishul by your own eyes. That trishul is also very important. Scientists are still unable to understand what kind of metal is used in that trishul. There's something written in that trishul and nobody knows what that language is. Nobody knows what the depth of that trishul is. The Shiv-Parvati statue that's in the temple is also swayambhu. One of the farmers of that village got that statue in his farms and the pandit of that temple says that nobody knows where the water which he pours on that statue goes.

There's a place in Jammu Kashmir with great spiritual significance known as padder. Like amarnath yatra, Machail yatra also took place every year, this yatra starts from gulabgarh to paddar in kishtwar district this trek is about 45 km long and the temple is surrounded by mountains from all sides and on one mountain peak lord Shiva's gave darshan to the devotees who come there for some moments and then disappear.
