Very lovely! I live in the USA and we normally have 4 burners on our stove.. I’m always amazed you can cook for a family of 7 with just 2 burners on your stove! I LOVE the food you make and wish we in the USA can cook the way you do. Keep up the great work❤️❤️❤️
To Westerns, your kitchen may seem small, but you use it efficiently and are very organised. I have a large kitchen and there's always a mess on the counters. I have 9 upper cabinets and 8 lower cabinets with one having 3 large pull out drawers for pots and pans, but it's a disaster. I could use your help, Touko Mama, in getting myself organized efficiently. I have always admired your dishwasher. My Son has one too and when I told him I'd love one, he offered to give it to me. I said yes, but I don't think he'll give it away because he's a bit lazy to wash by hand 😂 We're not allowed to have full size dishwashers in our apartment but I know a few people who have them. I'm currently saving up for a zojirushi rice cooker and water heater. My oven has 4 burners and it's electric and I'd trade it in for a 2 burner gas stove any day. I love cooking with a gas range. I really enjoyed your kitchen tour and I wasn't surprised at how quickly it was installed because in Japan most everything is done so efficiently. I love the Showa period and when you said your kitchen was old at 40, I laughed. I'm 64 and a 40 year old kitchen in Canada would have been ugly (I remember the avocado green and harvest gold coloured appliances) and not efficient. Very nice. You are very organized with your storage solutions! It is unfortunate they did not replace the cabinet under the stove. I have a 5 burner stove in Canada, it is amazing how you make meals for such a large family with only 2, very commendable.
