Per usual, great work brother! I have followed this build since the beginning and have 95% of the same mods on my bike. After this video it looks like I will be adding another. Thanks and keep it up.
I recently installed these and I encountered a problem, the light stays on when indicating and I don’t know how to fix it, so instead of stopping the light and starting the indicator it indicates over the light which looks bad and might be hard to see while riding do you have a solution that might help this?
Wish this was out when I threw my JL design taillight in so I could have did it all at once. Only thing holding me back from these. Other than that they look amazing lol!
Ahh yes good question, stock pressure is insane and almost the same on all bikes on the street I do 30 front 32 rear, track a few psi less is what I do
Hi! It’s so cool! I love it!! I thinking of installing them in my r7, but i have question. Are they waterproof? I want to say if you can wash the bike once installed
@ScoutsOut Hey man, I just got a 2024 R7 and I've been contemplating on what mods I should get first, after having your VF Designs indicators for this long are they still working as intended? I've seen a couple people complain about there left Indicator going out. Don't know if VF Design would warranty the part but just wanted to see what you think after all this time.
So my r7 has the oem fender eliminator kit, so it still has the stock turn signals in the back and a license plate light. So if I were to get this can I simply take off the turn signals and unplug them and plug this in to the same spots the turn signals were plugged into? Or would jt be better for me to get the integrated tail light first?
Hey man quick question! What external knee sliders do you have that just go over your pants if you could link me to those or just tell me the name that’d be great! Love the video new subscriber!
They are decent but are 1 size fits all. They end up sagging after time and I start actually dragging my knee instead of the slider. I’m going to modify them a little to get the puck higher and I think they will be perfect
sadly the glue on the weathertape melted and came off the first hot day of riding and one of the leds is burning out a week into ownership shame because they looked great for a whole 2 hrs
Better Option than the VF's ruclips.net/video/SSA6ZCUIuHk/видео.htmlsi=seOIMd_zzvD9HlYW
Amazing! Thanks for the update
Howcome you dont reccomend the lights in the description anymore? Do they fault over time :)?
Yea sadly they do, I had several comments about people’s lights failing and wasn’t sure if it was just BS or a fluke… then mine failed
Per usual, great work brother! I have followed this build since the beginning and have 95% of the same mods on my bike. After this video it looks like I will be adding another. Thanks and keep it up.
Thanks bro. It came out so nice
Fantastic work as always mate, this looks so cool. Really great. Have a nice Sunday and ride on🤙
Thanks ck, was a nice upgrade for the r7
I got most of my mod ideas for my R7 from u! I'm takin this one too!😂. Nice work man! Appreciate the videos!
Haha, coo.. man this bike is coming out sick. Glad it’s been helpful.
Looks amazing! A must do for aesthetics.
Yea man these look so good 👌🏼
looks hella clean! good job!
Thanks bro, came out nice
'Twas a bit of fenangle to get it in ther Scout, but the end product looks GOOOOOOD mate!
Thank you Phil, they came out nice
Hey boss, can you do a tutorial on changing spark plugs?
Definitely, I’m at 7600 now so hopefully soon
I recently installed these and I encountered a problem, the light stays on when indicating and I don’t know how to fix it, so instead of stopping the light and starting the indicator it indicates over the light which looks bad and might be hard to see while riding do you have a solution that might help this?
Hard to say without seeing what you did, but it sounds like you wired the license plate light to the wrong wire maybe
Wish this was out when I threw my JL design taillight in so I could have did it all at once. Only thing holding me back from these. Other than that they look amazing lol!
Yea man sucks to do it all twice but man they are cool
Question on tire pressure scouts! Do you run factory spec psi? Or do you have a psi you prefer for this bike?
Ahh yes good question, stock pressure is insane and almost the same on all bikes on the street I do 30 front 32 rear, track a few psi less is what I do
simply wonderful. this can be done also on R6 year 2020 ?? thx so much
Yea bro, they make them for the r1/r6 and r7
Hi!
It’s so cool! I love it!!
I thinking of installing them in my r7, but i have question.
Are they waterproof?
I want to say if you can wash the bike once installed
Yea they look so good man, yes they are waterproof. I’ve washed my bike several times since
oh, that's great!!
I'm glad to see it can be done.
Thanks for answering me, have a good day bro!!
You too
@ScoutsOut Hey man, I just got a 2024 R7 and I've been contemplating on what mods I should get first, after having your VF Designs indicators for this long are they still working as intended? I've seen a couple people complain about there left Indicator going out. Don't know if VF Design would warranty the part but just wanted to see what you think after all this time.
I’ve had many people tell me theirs failed as well. I took mine off when I installed the track fairings so I can’t verify sadly
@@ScoutsOut man they look so good, i wish this wasn't the case
So what plug does the running lamps plug into? I have looked everywhere but can't anywhere to plug it into
The running lamp is using the license plate light
Thank you so much. When I plugged it in there it acted like there was a hyper flash. Will I need to change out the turn signal relay
Ahh, yes just get the TST relay
@@ScoutsOut do you happen to know what relay it is right off hand? Is it a 2 pin?
Love this mod. Ha. The one mod I did before you.
Have you replaced the spark plugs at 8k miles yet or plan to create a walkthrough?
Haha they are awesome! I just got the plugs and will do a walk through soon
@@ScoutsOut awesome. thank you.
Next you need to put the Yoshi cam in haha
They are sick, but my left running light stopped working after few months :(
Ahh damn, that sucks your the second person to say that
How have these been holding up for you? I’ve had mine for a few months and the lights are already going out and the adhesive is on its last leg….
Sadly I can’t comment, I turned my bike into a track bike to I stripped everything off but they were working good for me
I connected my Il designs every way possible and it still blinks the opposite side whenever I turn on my signals what am I doing wrong
I figured it out, I had it plug into the wrong connector
Oh good glad you figured it out, wiring can get frustrating
So my r7 has the oem fender eliminator kit, so it still has the stock turn signals in the back and a license plate light. So if I were to get this can I simply take off the turn signals and unplug them and plug this in to the same spots the turn signals were plugged into? Or would jt be better for me to get the integrated tail light first?
You could do the same splice I did in the video to the stock signals if you want. I just think the integrated tail light looks good with them
I got these they look great but qualities just shit probably had it for 3 months and and the left lights have already given up.
That’s not good to hear, thanks for sharing to the community
Do they make that for a 2021 Aprilia Tuono 660?
I wish, that would be awesome I still haven’t put my fender eliminator on my tuono, I can’t finds turn signals I like for it
@@ScoutsOut I still have the whale dick on mine as well. The stock turn signals are bright so I haven’t switched them out.
Hey man quick question! What external knee sliders do you have that just go over your pants if you could link me to those or just tell me the name that’d be great! Love the video new subscriber!
Nevermind just saw you linked them in your Zx4rr video thank you!
I got these Knee sliders for casual riding with good knee protection
imp.i104546.net/3e96mk
They are decent but are 1 size fits all. They end up sagging after time and I start actually dragging my knee instead of the slider. I’m going to modify them a little to get the puck higher and I think they will be perfect
@@ScoutsOut stay safe man thank you!
I wanna do this to my r7 but instead use a posi lock connector for the JL to Vf do u think it would work the same thank you
Yea they would work but might corrode creating a problem later
Could I get the same results if I just used posi-taps?
Yea you could, I just done feel they have the same long term effect to keep out corrosion but they would work
Badass
Thanks man, they came out so good
sadly the glue on the weathertape melted and came off the first hot day of riding and one of the leds is burning out a week into ownership shame because they looked great for a whole 2 hrs
Damn sry to hear that bro
do u get charged for tolls with ur plate mount?
Luckily I don’t have tolls where I live, so not yet
