- A perfect perennial for hot, dry climates and also exceptionally cold hardy. Perovskia can be used in a wide variety of environments with little attention through the season - a reason they have long been a staple of landscapers. Expect these plants to be a little later to emerge in spring, but also to offer color well into fall.
Awesome comparison and helpful information.
Thank u for this video 📹 💓
I really appreciate the side by side comparisons, thanks. A summer blooming allium comparison would be useful as well, if possible?
This is my second year growing Denim n' Lace Russian sage in Virginia zone 7a and I really like it for all the reasons you mentioned. I first saw it on Laura's Garden Answer channel. I definitely prefer it over the Russian sage species because it's much more compact.
How does this variety compare to ‘Little Spires’?
Was seriously waiting on this video for the longest time, thank you very much for the comparisons. I love the denim and lace variety but in some applications, a larger, original Russian sage also looks good, despite it flopping. Can you please compare the denim and lace and sage advice in a separate video? Thank you!
Yes we can! Keep a look out for a RUclips Short comparing the two.
I got about 8-9 'Denim and Lace' in my zone 9b, Sacramento area garden and simply love them... They have withstood our 110+ degree heat like a champ!! Great info on how to over winter them .Can you pls cover a side by side walkthrough of the red hot poker plants pls...I love the combination of them planted with the Russian sage... Thankyou so much!!
Gorgeous flowers 💐

You're welcome :)
I love my Denim n Lace. I’m in zone 5a and it is so pretty.
hi! is there a chance you could do a side by side comparison of denin n lace and sage advice? i am really curious to see the color difference
Me too! I bought 5 denim and lace at some point but lost them when I tried shipping them in a box to another house, unfortunately. Now I’m wondering which of the two varieties, denim and lace or sage advice, should I get?
@@paolaarletty6525 our local Lowe’s had some denim n lace for sale so I ended up with 9 plants. I’m so excited but I think I’d have preferred the darker color of sage advice
How is denim n lace called in Europe?
