Great video as always. I prefer to go through the thinking process with you instead of just seeing what you do in the end. It will be interesting to see you upcycle pieces to make them fit in the houses. Have a good week.
Love it, especially the bag of potato's! I crochet and I know small things are not easy to do. Looking forward to seeing what else you make. Have a lovely weekend ladies xx
Looking forward to your greenhouse videos. The beautiful scent of tomatoes growing in a greenhouse brings back memories of my uncle's lovely garden. Unfortunately when he died the people that brought his house concreted it over for car parking. Broke my heart.
My home was from the forties I was born in 1946. My bathroom sink was exactly like the white one Kate took the faucets from. The only difference was it was on a pedestal. I just love your relationship with each other and both of your enthusiasm. I so enjoyed seeing you Mom again Fleur. I can see the relationship you have with your Mom is like the one you and Kate have. I’m always looking forward to your videos. I believe that handmade blue and white is called tatting where you use a shuttle. ❤ lots of love from Diane in Upstate New York.
Very nice!! During wartime there was a lot of re-using and upcycling, but it was just called surviving!! Great idea showing how to do that for your house!!!🥰🥰🥰
That and the little bar of soap are my favorite parts! I love anything miniature and these videos are just so special. It’s almost as much fun listening to them as it is watching them. Love the mother/daughter banter (including tiffs that most mothers and daughters have), too. ❤
The wardrobe with the single door would be fun with a small woodland scene pasted inside and you could pretend it's from The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.
The sink is lovely,I love the bag of potatoes and fairy soap, I was born in 1946 and brought up on fairy household soap before they brought out the one for face , we all had lovely skin and still do.
@@dianecavallaro5227 That was all we were used to, then in the 60s they brought out Fairy toiet soap, but my mum continued to use the household one, as teenagers we wanted fancy perfumed soap, so were not impressed lol, I never see it now except in washing clothes and fabric softener and is the nice one, so I think we had a good soap there, I have never heard of your soaps, I hope they were kind to your skin, also we have Fairy washing up liquid (dish soap).
Hello Dears! That is gorgeous. I love how it turned out, and the whole process. It may be marvellous not to have plan, it’s a unique experience! You found the way. A way in the way. Thank you as always 💛✨
You said in the caption you should have a plan before you start but I love seeing you go through the process, it’s what we all do when trying to make things from scratch and it’s fun to get new ideas, great video x
My favourite bit was when Fleur says,'we could tart that up a bit'🤣 not heard that for a while. That wee bag of potatoes is so sweet. Great video ladies,as always.
I love the little dishcloth. My grandmother made a dishcloth for me,she was in her last year of life,99 years old,she passed away 3 days before her 100th birthday. Suffice to say,I cherish my little green dishcloth, and should, but do not,use it on dishes.
I remember skirts on sinks and dressing tables in my parents house, which was built in 1950 and grandparent's kitchens. And the dressing table in one of the bedrooms. But they were mostly floral in the US. Boy, an I old! 😂 everything turned out wonderfully, and I love how the potatoes turned out.
I think the crocheted ring you found was for a blind/shade pull. My grandmother had ones on all her blinds to keep greasy handprints off- one would pull the ring instead of handling the blind. Very clever uses of things you already have! Loved the video!
Great video- I just want you to have a proper pair of needle nose pliers! I cut the fingers off old leather gloves to use to wrap things that get gripped by tools, so the things won't be scratched. Spring is unwinding here too- hang on, have fun!
What fun it is to make and upcycle items for our dolls houses. I’ve been working on a vintage dolls house I’m my channel and making furniture with existing vintage bits, cardboard and wood. Great fun. Your little sink turned out great.
I can’t begin to describe how happy this made me, to watch how your brains worked together to come up with such a great representation. And the potato 🥔 bag was amazing, Kate. I kind of see that Fleur is not big on surprises 😅 Thank you for sharing your talents with us…it worked out perfectly and I am looking forward to every thing you produce…including planting produce in a greenhouse! ❤
Not weird at all to me, that the sink is the first thing done. We bought a bathroom sink at a recycle store while looking for a house, and months later found a house for it. It fit perfectly,
Your 1940s sink is adorable! Everything is so cute! The potatoes and bag is wonderful! Good job! I am looking for to watching you girls do the rest of the dollhouse! Please be careful and stay safe! ❤❤
Good job on mixing the paint color 4? times, looks great! Love the details of the soap and sponge, and Kate's little bag of potatoes... All the unused furniture in the beginning looks like the best miniature rummage sale ever, and I really hope you use that TINY BEARSKIN RUG made of felt, it's the cutest thing ever!!!
What an exciting video, Kate, loved your surprise potatoes and the 'string bag' is perfect. The green Fairy soap is also spot on. Looking forward to seeing the 1940s house being created with your imagination and crafting skills. Have a great week.
Never plan it out first, its so much more interesting watching it come together like this. It turned out beautifully and the bag of potatoes is brilliant.
Don’t pull the loop!!! Yes! Doilies 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 My Mom (Mum) crochet 🧶 with yarn & string should could have made $$$ doing it. I never learned. 🥲 X-mad decorations, doilies, Afghans; you name it!!! She was awesome 😘🥰😇
TV is really missing a trick, I'm sure if they put you on, you'd get a huge following, your so adorable and genuine. Much love, that warm weather's coming. Somehow it always turns out there's method to your madness and great results. Your interactions are hilarious.
Love the sink! And Kate, your bag of potatoes is so clever! Your thread find is definitely crocheted. I have been known to tuck my work-in-progress inside the thread like that.
I really REALLY enjoyed this. The fact that you are going to make everything with materials you already have is just perfect. I'm still looking for a dolls house for myself but while I search I'm going to get lots of amazing ideas from you lovely ladies😊xx
Just a thought for next time you get to much paint out , I use my paint brush to pick up the paint little at a time take the top off and scrape the extra paint back in the bottle. That way I don't waste paint. I do tons of crafts and have done this many times 😊
I love the sink ! It turned out great ! I love the way you both are building most of the things for the house instead of buying it. You did a great job on the potato bag with the tiny potatoes !
I just love the little crochet bag with potatoes!
Great video as always. I prefer to go through the thinking process with you instead of just seeing what you do in the end. It will be interesting to see you upcycle pieces to make them fit in the houses. Have a good week.
Love the sink it's so clever and potato bag is so cute.
So interesting how this all came together - You are so blessed to be able to work so well together -
So very soothing. Thank you.
Love it, especially the bag of potato's! I crochet and I know small things are not easy to do. Looking forward to seeing what else you make. Have a lovely weekend ladies xx
Wonderful sink, great fun watching.
Looking forward to your greenhouse videos. The beautiful scent of tomatoes growing in a greenhouse brings back memories of my uncle's lovely garden. Unfortunately when he died the people that brought his house concreted it over for car parking. Broke my heart.

Very cute idea!
I had that in my Triang dolls house in the 1960s
Love that idea!!
The sink turned out awesome, well done guys. Take care and thank you for sharing 👍🙏❤️
The sink is lovely,I love the bag of potatoes and fairy soap, I was born in 1946 and brought up on fairy household soap before they brought out the one for face , we all had lovely skin and still do.
I’m from the US we had Fels Napth and Octogon kitchen soap and Ivory for bath. I never heard of fairy soap, I feel cheated lol. ♥️

Hi Loved this, Your sink is the cutest, to recreate a object is pure Magic & shows how Talented You😊 both😊 are🌷💐🙋♀️
Remember the wire cage with handle the soap went in to make suds, can’t wait till next time
Carol Australia.
I like watching the thought process and the trial-and-error
The sink turned out just precious! I love it, but I love everything you do. Just adorable!
Hello Dears! That is gorgeous. I love how it turned out, and the whole process. It may be marvellous not to have plan, it’s a unique experience! You found the way. A way in the way.

So cute, you did an awesome job with the new sink.
You said in the caption you should have a plan before you start but I love seeing you go through the process, it’s what we all do when trying to make things from scratch and it’s fun to get new ideas, great video x
That sink is seriously cool 😀 loved the little potatoes and net bag too . X
My favourite bit was when Fleur says,'we could tart that up a bit'🤣 not heard that for a while. That wee bag of potatoes is so sweet. Great video ladies,as always.
Love the little crochet bag with potatoes 😊
I really think the bag used for the potatoes is tatted made with a shuttle it makes smaller stitches.
I love the little dishcloth.

You are so magical... Thank you for this haven... (Lady Poupounette loved the video as well... xxx)
Can't wait to see the 40s dollhouse.
Brilliant!
Once you figured out what you wanted to do that sink came out super cute!!! Potato sack is cute to!!
You need pegs or hooks in the kitchen to hang Kate's potatoes and maybe an apron. The sink is darling. I love when you guys make things.❤
You two ladies are so creative! All of this 20s and 40s stuff remind me so much of my grandparents. I love watching you. Please keep up the good work!
Good idea to separate by size and era so when you need a certain thing you don't have to do a deep dive. Like your ideas. Go girls.
I think the crocheted ring you found was for a blind/shade pull. My grandmother had ones on all her blinds to keep greasy handprints off- one would pull the ring instead of handling the blind. Very clever uses of things you already have! Loved the video!
I was thinking the same thing!
Great video- I just want you to have a proper pair of needle nose pliers! I cut the fingers off old leather gloves to use to wrap things that get gripped by tools, so the things won't be scratched. Spring is unwinding here too- hang on, have fun!
I really enjoyed this project! Fun, turned out so good.
Love it. You are both such a good team and I always enjoy your doll house videos.
I'm so happy to see another video from you! Enjoy your weekend! kindest regards, k

Fabulous sink☺ When you mentioned fairy soap I had an immediate smell memory of the green bar 😀 It was used in laundry too
Love it!

It’s possibly my favorite piece ever! I love these deconstruct/reconstruct projects! Great job you two. ❤️
Never plan it out first, its so much more interesting watching it come together like this. It turned out beautifully and the bag of potatoes is brilliant.
Adorable!! That was quite a challenge..you did it with 40s flair! I LOVE those tiny dishes and the soap and taps ..can't wait for more..bravo!
Im quite taken with how lovely the final result is!
Momma crocheted our dish clothes
Don’t pull the loop!!! Yes! Doilies 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 My Mom (Mum) crochet 🧶 with yarn & string should could have made $$$ doing it. I never learned. 🥲

Brilliant ladies, so inventive and the finished sink looks perfect. The copper paint for the taps was spot on.
Oh Kate that little string bag and washcloth...you are so talented, I love your embroidery work as well. Gorgeous.
TV is really missing a trick, I'm sure if they put you on, you'd get a huge following, your so adorable and genuine. Much love, that warm weather's coming. Somehow it always turns out there's method to your madness and great results. Your interactions are hilarious.
The 1940s Sink you have made is adorable ❤
Oh that’s so cute 🌸Sam🌸
The Crochet piece you found would make a cute cushion with a little embroidery in the middle ❤
cute, love it
The bits and pieces of things you fashioned into a realistic old sink cabinet. Your cheerful banter is delightful.
You've done it again! Another fantastic job! Love watching you go through the thought process and bring your ideas to life.
Hi lady so beautiful
Love your sink and attention to historic detail! What a great project the 40’s dollhouse will be!!
Love the sink! And Kate, your bag of potatoes is so clever! Your thread find is definitely crocheted. I have been known to tuck my work-in-progress inside the thread like that.
True ASMR is the sound made when you go through the box of miniatures. ❤
I really REALLY enjoyed this. The fact that you are going to make everything with materials you already have is just perfect. I'm still looking for a dolls house for myself but while I search I'm going to get lots of amazing ideas from you lovely ladies😊xx
There were no colored sinks or appliances in the forties not until late sixties. ❤ lots of love from Diane in upstate New York.
The people who make all the furniture are artists. Amazing. ❤
That is so nice! Love it!
Just a thought for next time you get to much paint out , I use my paint brush to pick up the paint little at a time take the top off and scrape the extra paint back in the bottle. That way I don't waste paint. I do tons of crafts and have done this many times 😊
Carbolic soap was usually pink
🥰
Great job ladies you have made our day

I can’t believe this work-over. I will watch the process again.
I love the sink ! It turned out great ! I love the way you both are building most of the things for the house instead of buying it. You did a great job on the potato bag with the tiny potatoes !
