Wow! Great game, it seemed very controlled by your part. I just finished Galaxy’s Most Wanted campaign (hated it) and defeated standard Ronan with everything I had… this Ronan guy was ridiculous… a gazillion hazard and acceleration icons… just ridiculous… this is the first guy I rush in 3 turns by throwing him the kitchen sink and a little divine intervention… but because of that I feel more comfortable with Star Lord and Drax… gg
Thanks Neojaw! Yea he’s a tough one lol. I’ve never faced him in campaign but i heard he’s wayyyy harder there than in standalone. That’s awesome you took him down with a Starlord + Drax combo 💯
@@webwarriorfanatic yeah, it’s hard, but the campaign market lets you buy some pretty cool cards, I played most of the campaign as leadership Starlord and protection Drax, but with Ronan I had to change to Aggression Starlord and Drax was fine, so sad that Drax couldn’t make it at the end… so lucky that I got all the cards that I needed when I needed them
Even with making the game harder for yourself there at the end you still managed to get the win! I thought Colossus would suit your play style, so glad you're enjoying him.
Very tense run. This time, you felt less in control with Colossus than against Magneto, so maybe he reached his limit. Let's wait for Venom Goblin! PS: I confirm you got the ruling right regarding power stone / overkill. The tough prevents from taking damage, but you are still dealt some damages through overkill.
Thanks Albert! I’m surprised Colossus pulled this off but I’m finding he’s a great counter to a lot of scenarios. Ronan’s first main scheme leaves little room to go to alter-ego, but Armor Up gives Piotr a free pass
Great game! I played a similar deck, I really like Moira MacTaggert to draw extra cards. I also run X-Masion to heal my allies, I think it is pretty useful.
"Pizdets! The Guardians of the Galaxy have screwed up big time, Ronan has the power Stone and is on his way to Kree Supremacy. With no other options and none of the other Galactic organizations responding, Cosmo attempts to contact psychically some assistance. Cerebro picks up the signal. Cosmo is pleased to hear that fellow Russian Colossus will be taking Leadership of this mission, as the most experienced brawler and the only one capable of taking on the force of the Accuser's Hammer headon. Beast immediately requests Cosmo send the remains of the Milan, as no doubt he can get it working. Hopefully, the X-Men and Colossus can stop the Kree forces..." 4:43 Nothing feels better then saying NOPE to an attack coming at you with a Tough card. No allies lost, just a heroic steel man standing bravely. First time I've seen Leadership Colossus and it was great seeing Beast for a majority of the game (start and finish!). What a win too! A solid back and forth brawl even with Fanaticism hitting the board fairly early! Great game
wow, very impressive! To be honest, I thought Colossus wouldn't be able to handle Ronan. Somehow I don't like playing him that much. He's so dependent on his toughs and sacrificing them for an attack feels bad. Often you don't have one when you need it, I think. Very good game 👍😎
Thanks Jehoba! Honestly i thought he would struggle too. The X-Men basic package is really strong, and one of the most difficult things about Ronan in my opinion is not being able to flip down and Colossus surprisingly gets very easy flips thanks to Armor Up. I did feel restricted in his tough status cards, though. If i used the toughs to block attacks i couldn’t use them to play events 😅
I didn't get an exact count, but you forgot to draw off Iron Will at least three times that I saw throughout the game. One time near the end you even mentioned that you would draw but then forgot to do it :)
Absolutely love colossus!! Thanks for this insane match up, web!
Thanks Board Game Time! Im loving Colossus too :)

@@neojaw2192 hahaha poor Drax. I can see him dying while Starlord goes in for the kill 😅😂

You’re absolutely right! Colossus is my cup of tea :)

Thanks Fernando! Heck yea i think the AE support would synergize well with Colossus. I gotta try that sometime
I'm loving this!!! Just started but can't wait to see you pilot Piotr up against one of the most difficult....so glad you are liking Colossus!!:)
Thanks Rey! His handsize scared me away but i was soo wrong about Piotr. Definitely one of my more favorite X-Men to play
Impressive, well played!
Thanks Cam 🙏🙏

Love the thematic explanation 😂👌🏻👌🏻💯
Thanks Ritzy! I really enjoyed Beast’s long life in this game

i wonder how many tries it takes to get the perfect game and win :P
First try one and done. Just posted my first game with Drax a few hours ago and lost.

Ohh man 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ true hahaha. I need more practice with Colossus
