Challenge yourself with this one to get it done before Christmas. It’s been made idiot proof (as always) by Francesca, I should know - I’m an idiot. No patronising or over-complicating the explanations, she’s brilliant and precise as always. Thank you 👍
When anyone can call themselves an idiot, I take it that this must be good and easy. Thank you, Joseph.
@eddiaa an idiot it really is idiot proof lol et2
After watching the movie Home Alone on Thanksgiving, I felt I wanted to try to learn this, and again you have a perfect tutorial. I bought your sheet music which helps augment your directions nicely, and am plodding my way thru one line at a time. First I try get the chords down repeating them over and over so that I don’t have to look too much, then try to work in the melody one note at a time. As a beginner, it really helps me to be able to pause your lesson, make notes on the sheet music as to which notes make a particular chord, and then watch you work thru the section over and over. Learning so much watching the way you finger the melody, as well as form the chords. Many, many thanks.
I don't have much money but will give when I can. You made my life better with the sweet sounds of music. It heals my 💙
Thank you! Wanted to play this for Christmas..love Judy singing this in Meet me in St Louis..hope i can master by Christmas! Wish me luck!💕

You're welcome 😊
Thanks for the amazing tutorial! I really struggle with my left and right hand coordination. Would love to see a video on that (if you haven’t done one already).
Thank you and God bless!
Definitely planned!
Nicely explained. A full playthrough at the end or at the beginning would have been good
Very Old video, I do more play throughs now 👍🏻
Hello and thanks for making the tutorial. Do you have a video of the song in its entirety, or an audio file or something or are you able to play the entire song, like you did in the beginning of the video (except you cut off part way through)? It's really difficult to follow the melody for the sections played from 07:03 into the next section. It's quite awkward chord transitions in that section and when it's not continuous in the demonstration I'm left kind of guessing how it's supposed to sound :/
I love all your tutorials!! You’re the best❤️🎄✨
I am trying to get some Christmas songs in early this year. Excuse my ignorance, when you play the for example b flat etc, when I went to look at the music via the link the staff seemed to have two notes together. I am a little confused. I am only just starting to read music , is this how it’s written or are two notes played together?
Does anyone know where I can learn how to play the piano for the Cyndi Thompson version of this song?
what key is this in?
Is it weird I’m trying to learn this in May?
Maybe a bit? haha :)
I'm learning in June!😁😁
chicken little I’m learning it in September XD
chicken little I think I’m to excited for Christmas
I'm learning it in October
It would be nice if you had the letters typed on the keys.
The name of the keys are incredibly easy to learn - don’t rely on labelling them, very bad habit.
You're sheet music is different than your video. Your video has the right hand playing single notes, but your sheet music has chords in the Treble staff. Why is that?
I added a little more embellishments for those that can read/understand notation.
Thanks!
