It’s just that their earlier tracks were giving a bubblegum pop genre so I anticipated it’ll continue since there are not lots of K-pop girl groups here that are still doing that. On the other note, I liked their b-side there which is Hello because it’s more likely to be a bubblegum pop song! 💕 Anw, this is subjective. Opinions still vary depending on the person ~^^
I understand that their Korean title track is not really a concept anyone expected of CSR but there aren't many songs that have as nice a flow as Pretty Mob imo.
I don't know what the hell is going on with CSR's management. Their first few albums were so good and really set the tone for the group's music- and had it continued, would have really cemented them into the Gfriend-esque whimsical pop genre that not that many groups are doing right now. So idk what this strange turn to basic, low-budget, unidentifiable pop rock even is. Their music in Korea sounded more jpop than this. And it doesn't even help that there was such a loooong hiatus in between albums + sending off almost half the members to some random survival show that made no noise. This is truly so sad to witness lol really a case of talented, entertaining idols under some ass company.
