For those who insist that LCT are American made, do some research online! LCT does have their headquarters in SC, but that’s their motive to put an office in the US to make you believe that. Every engine they make is in a factory in China! Don’t be fooled!

As someone who has worked on both, that tecumseh snow king is a beast, compared the the techina engine, biggest thing is you can't get engine parts as easy as the snowking tecumseh, and the build quality is so much higher on the older one, like I said keep it bro you won't be sorry.
I have an early 2000s st824 Le. I love the machine
Thanks for showing us the comparison👍👍
Well built design.
Great comparison video. I like both but the heated grips just (gripped) me there on the 1128.
I have always heard Ariens makes good equipment. Good video and information. Thanks
Great video Henry, love those Snow King Tecumseh engines...they are BEASTS!
Hi Henry can you take us for a shed tour with all your parts I’ve never saw it before it whould be nice
Great Video Henry. I was kind of wondering when Ariens changed to the 3 blade impeller from the 4 blade like your 2002 Ariens has.
I just bought ariens 24 deluxe. Absolutely love it. I would have gotten the 28 pro but didn't feel like be broke for the rest of the month. My snow blower is more powerful then I need. It will throw the snow like they claim.
Good vid, wish my honda had wheels
Liked and subbed.
Appreciate that bro! 👍
I do snow removal and demo’d a few Ariens and they all throw snow too far for most of my properties (small lots and buildings are feet apart). Love the power, tried burying them and didn’t really bog down.
It is an grate video
I think Ariens, snapper, and toro make the best blowers. Snapper just seems to take the lead in performance. Just my opinion. I know we have all owned them all
The 1128 doesn't have a differential driving the wheels which gives it good traction but it's murder when turning! Even though the Deluxe 24 only has 3 blades/fingers on the impeller I believe the impeller is larger and spins faster than the 1128. The 1128 doesn't need the extra brackets at the gear box since the shaft goes the full width of the bucket through the augers. The Deluxe 24 auger shaft doesn't go the full width of the bucket. Some of the earlier Ariens "auto-turn" complaints came from misadjusted skids and/or misalignment of the blower housing to the frame.
Good info bro
Hi Henry, I bought an Ariens 724 in 1990 from a guy who was movingh to Florida. I agree, it is a beast. it's the best snowblower I've ever had. It's rusting and starting to wear out. I think I'll upgrade to one of the models you have in tjhis video. I only use it a few months a year, but like you said::: It's a beast so why not have one. Bury all your neighbors in snow!!! Not really, but you could with one of those models! Great Video. I've started watching everuthing you have and always hit the Like button!
Appreciate it bro!
It's obvious the newer Ariens has a bigger auger housing.
Wider wheels on the 24" version would have the wheels wider than the blower housing.
Those tecumseh snow king series can't be beat! You know ariens has a collectors edition that's all white and even has the tecumseh logo on the recoil. Great love letter from Ariens and lct.
I agree 100% hope you’re subscribed
I have an Ariens 1130 with Auto Turn, but failed miserably after five or six years to the point where I had to drill a hole through the left wheel and axle to put in a solid Bolt so both Wheels would turn because only the right wheel would turn. It's useless here in Maine when you get tons of deep snow and ice traction sucked going uphill so I had to make the modification myself because the autoturn after fixing it once shit the bed again and I wasn't going to spend tons of money on a feature I never really used. I have had to replace a couple Bolt because they do shear off after a season or two but that's an easy fix you can do it right on the ground just pop a new bolt in. I went to a grade 8 bolt 3/8 by 2.5 in and I don't think we're going to have that problem again. Pushing the snowblower because of only one wheel drive was awfu,l it was like pushing a washing machine up a hill. I salvaged tons of snow blowers all the time and turn them around and sell them so I've gotten to know pretty much everything about them and even though I still love my Aerins 1130, I still like to use my Toro 721 for walkways, it's so much easier just to turn around and it weighs nothing. Thank you for your video I love working on these machines and it's great to get them restored and get another 10 years of them for someone who needs them.
Thanks for your story, hope you’re subscribed

It states on the motor 12.5 ft/lbs, not the correct lb ft. (pound force foot), so that alone says it all.
It’s a close approximate rating.
The reason for the three and four impeller paddle difference is because one to 24 and 1 is a 28 Maybe not but it would make sense for an extra paddle on a bigger machine
The individual scoops on the 3 is better than the 4, plus the 3 blades may be longer.
When are you gonna do the impeller mod to your Ariens?
I have the old version. Can u show us how to clean the carb, water got into it :(
Sure! If you subscribed you’d know it was done just a week ago! Here ya go!

The AX 254cc is not the same as an 11HP tecumseh been professionally working on Snow blowers over 15 years now and a AX 254cc motor is equivalent to a 9HP Tecumseh motor. 302cc is 11hp 357cc is 13hp and 420cc is 15hp. So the newer ariens motor is alot less power than the older ariens motor
Good info bro! Hope you subscribed
The impeller on the 2016 is bigger. Also, don’t keep your Ariens snowblower outside, it will rust badly.
Never do
I'd rather not have an engine made by the chicoms.
Well good luck because they’re mostly made by chicoms
Throw out 95% of all your stuff. Man you americunts are dumb af. I guess that's what happens when ya'll are f'king your cousins.
No comparison. Tecumseh snow king best engines ever. I just got one going from a 1979 simplicity snow buster 524.
Mine has heated grips and they are the $hit.
I've never had a problem with chinese engines predator went for tears untill i sold the snowblower
Yeah I like the preds
Good comparison Henry. Both are good machines. Ariens claims that they are made in America, but in reality they are assembled in America. Like you said chinese clone engine. I dont know what day you made the video, but it was -10F here last night! 👍🤔🇺🇸Roger
