PART 3 IS HERE - ruclips.net/video/u8o8j8polm8/видео.html ...btw, MENTIDAL IS PART PSYCHIC! I forgot to add the visuals, somehow. And yes, I will add a few Pokemon I previously made into this region's Pokedex. Aaaaand Patrons/ Members have already seen the final evolutions. I am very proud of them!
@@Cameytoe Been listening to them so much recently. It was unexpected to hear him reference danny in this video. Dan and Ron are two incredibly wholesome people
I like how the starter line's whole gimmick changes their personality upon becoming middle stage starter evolutions. Mustrunk is now more wild and spiteful towards humans because of deforestation and that it plants trees on human property to get revenge. Because Oxinerate is worshipped by humans, it grew spoiled and lazy. Mentidal now is vain, untrusting, and cold because of ocean pollution. I love the personality and work you put into these Pokemon
And it's here! They grow up so fast, don't they? These creations are probably the most well-rounded, creative yet believable middle evolution of any fan designed starters I have seen! Mustrunk, Agnite and Mentidal embody perfectly the balancing of the general awkwardness surrounding first stage evolutions of the starters, whilst still retaining relatable personalities and anticipation for their final forms. Their designs contain no indication of hyperbole that is evident in some of the official middle-stage starters that offsets their entire evolution line. This is particularly noticeable in Mustrunk. The overgrowth of the vegetation on its back alludes somewhat to the woolly mammoth's characteristic shaggy coat of hair. Secondly, the dedication evident in the skill in Agnite's design comes from the transition of Smokalf's hide from orange into pale beige upon its evolution, juxtaposed with the addition of the black eyeliner Ancient Egyptians wore in imitation of the Eye of Horus, or wadjet. These are effective in maintaining the viewer's focus as tgey simultaneously serve as a foreshadowing of the inspiration behind their respective final evolution. Moreover, they generate intrigue and speculation as to the appearance of their final forms. Once agin, the consistency toward the orginal vision scores points, too. However, what is particularly outstanding about these middle stage evolutions is the complexity and multiple inspirations behind them. Furtermore, the unpredictability of certain aspects of the starters' evolutions make them particularly appealing. Firstly, Agnite's emo-style hairstyle reminiscent of the connotations of the teenage years, as characterised by moodiness, spoiled and selfish attitudes, generates familiarity with the viewer. Secondly, the inclusion of psychic energy and a displeased expression in Mentidal, whilst retaining its delphine shape, enables appreciation of the threats dolphins face in the wild. However, concerning Mustrunk, there is one minor criticism I have to address. You mentioned how Mustrunk's overenthusiasm and confidence compels it to plant new trees as a replacements for ones felled by humans is often in vain. Elephants were used for logging in southeast Asian countries in the past. Mustrunk's Pokédex entry could potentially have been improved by alluding to the Pokémon attempting to recompense for the extensive deforestation enabled by its real-world counterparts, in their co-operation with humans. In conclusion, the first installment and attracted our attention. This sequel generated excitement and anticipation for what is turning out to be an intelligently conceived and creatively executed trilogy. A commendable setup for the climax in which the final evolutions are publicly revealed. Great job, Ron! It's going to be awesome!
When I saw Mustrunk and Agnite I thought their 2nd typings are gonna be rock fighting flying so that it is gonna be a type triangle too but when I saw Mentidal was psychic I was so relieved we might not have a fire fighting type.

Shiny Haxorus 342 Mikey refuses to film it. Something about Volcorona virus and me Bulbasaur not being able to be in the same room, which is weird because we’re literally two inches apart from each other on the shelf.
I posted this idea for a grass fighting evolution chain on the community post but thought people might want to see it here: 1st stage - Punch-sprout: a small sprout coming out of a seed with boxing gloves made out of leaves 2nd stage - Slapling: a small trunk with large leafy hands connected to branchy arms with tape tied around the hands 3rd stage - Mightree : a towering tree with leafy boxing gloves and tape tied around the forehead (I don't really know about this one, could definitely be changed)
Amazing stuff Ron I’m really enjoying this series so far and can’t wait for the full evo’s and the rest of the dex :) Idk wich starter to choose I can’t but If I had too #smokecalfsquad
Dude! I love this idea! I adored the first episode! You're really talented and I love the thought behind the pokemon you've designed! I'd love to see more like this!
Love the series my favourite first evolution was the dolphin and my favourite second evolution is the elephant but I was very disappointed with the dolphin evolution I think the caff is going in the right direction but I think you should either revisit the dolphin or make the final evolution worth it Please do not disappoint (not mad at you just dissatisfied is all)
Middle evos for the starters are and awkward yet necessary part of their design process. But honestly Ron? All 3 of these look pretty cool and not awkward at all tbh. They look like the natural next step in their evolutionary lines while being promising in how their final evos will look. I love it. Good job :) I seriously love all 3 but I think I still am on Team Eleafant. Considering how much you love grass types, elephants and the color green I'm sure the final evolution will look amazing.
Not gonna lie I was nervous just because middle starters usually look strange but these are absolutely phenomenal both stylistically and conceptually. Just really incredible work.
@@AlfieriV Yeah, I agree. He ain't too creative at all. By the way why is your reply getting highlighted? Is he not creative when it comes to highlighting comments too? xD
I've made my own starters. A grass emu called Quanpom, a fire starter named Hissizzle, and a water platypus named Platyplash. This has kinda helped me in finding inspiration for evolutions for my own starters
I’m just now seeing this video. But Mustrunk’s art and description are by far the best out of your creations and my favorite fan created Pokemon. Good job man!
You are helping me with planning my own youtube channel with your ideas. I hope you show videoes on all the different aspects of your region and I am loving the starter pokemon. I've watched all the 'making my own pokemon' videoes and that inspired me to try out making pokemon. It didn't go well but I think im getting better. I did it on paper since I don't know what app you use for creating the computerised versions. Overall, you are very inspiring and I love your vids! Keep up the good work TrueGreen7!
In part 3, when you show the shiny variants of the final stages, it would be nice to see the first and second stage shiny's too. In this video you only put in the second stage shiny's, like at 7:39 , I had to go back to the first video to see Smokalf's shiny coloration. Overall, I really like how you are making the personalities for these starters, evolving from innocent and pure to distrustful and skeptical of humans. These personalities match the deity characteristics of these pokemon very well, and it reminds me of legendaries like Kyogre, Entei, and Lugia who are deity-esque.
I like how Mentidal takes the rash back to land because honestly cleaning up man made thrash from the oceans or any large body of water not to mention the micro plastics. I love Mentidal and Mustrunk probably because I am a Environmental Science college student and can help but wish they existed
Mustrunk has to be one of the coolest looking middle grass starters in the history of pokemon starters .I can’t wait how the final form will look like .
I find it ironic that the elephant line cultivates forests where in actuality, elephants are known to knock down lots of trees. In fact, if elephant populations get too large, they can eliminate entire small forest and thicket patches within the Savannah and grassland biomes
My guess for Smokalf's final typing before this video was Fire/Fairy. Now I think it'd most likely be Fire/Fighting. What makes me think so is 1) Ron mentioned the final evolution would be standing up. 2) Looking at the other starters' 2nd type, being a Fighting type seems the most suitable for maintaining the 3 way deadlock. Anyway, looking forward to how these three turn out. Edit : just read Ron's pinned comment on the previous starters video, he mentioned none of the starters would be Dark, Fighting or Electric, so my bad 😝
In the first video I didn’t know if I would go for the grass or fire starter and it still difficult! I think Agnite has the upperhand though. Although the shiny form of Mustrunk is awesome!! I love these series and looking forward to their final stages!
I like these middle stages alot better (it kinda looks like you took like my ideas to heart!!) and i kinda can’t wait to see how you develop the themes of these starters.
So far, I think I like the elephant line the most. If I were to make a trio of starters, I would make a grass type moose, fire type bear, and water type beaver. Since grass types are based off extinct animals, the moose is based off the stag moose. I have other ideas for grass types, which include a kangaroo (short-faced kangaroo), macaw (Cuban macaw), Titanosaurus (dinosaur found in India), sloth (starts off as a regular sloth, but would become a giant ground sloth), passenger pigeon, and quagga. For fire types, a cassowary, jaguar, rhino, maned wolf, wolverine, and cobra. For water types, a platypus, anaconda, Ganges shark, pirahna, heron, and hippo.
Sheesh. XD The only one with a decent wild personality is Mustrunk? Though, I did admittedly get a chuckle out of Mentidal droping ocean trash on the land, like "I'm pretty sure this is YOURS!"

Shiny Haxorus 342 Mikey refuses to film it. Something about Volcorona virus and me Bulbasaur not being able to be in the same room, which is weird because we’re literally two inches apart from each other on the shelf.
@@why8308 lol
@@why8308 well, my favourite is volcarona so... Episode:69,420!bye bye volcarona!
I posted this idea for a grass fighting evolution chain on the community post but thought people might want to see it here:
1st stage - Punch-sprout: a small sprout coming out of a seed with boxing gloves made out of leaves
2nd stage - Slapling: a small trunk with large leafy hands connected to branchy arms with tape tied around the hands
3rd stage - Mightree : a towering tree with leafy boxing gloves and tape tied around the forehead (I don't really know about this one, could definitely be changed)
Amazing stuff Ron I’m really enjoying this series so far and can’t wait for the full evo’s and the rest of the dex :)
Idk wich starter to choose I can’t but If I had too #smokecalfsquad
smokalf*
Dude! I love this idea! I adored the first episode! You're really talented and I love the thought behind the pokemon you've designed! I'd love to see more like this!
Love the series my favourite first evolution was the dolphin and my favourite second evolution is the elephant but I was very disappointed with the dolphin evolution
I think the caff is going in the right direction but I think you should either revisit the dolphin or make the final evolution worth it
Please do not disappoint (not mad at you just dissatisfied is all)
the first form of the fire starter is my least favorite
True, he's doin my ain't doin' my dolphin boi justice. I hope the final evo is better.
Middle evos for the starters are and awkward yet necessary part of their design process. But honestly Ron? All 3 of these look pretty cool and not awkward at all tbh. They look like the natural next step in their evolutionary lines while being promising in how their final evos will look. I love it. Good job :)
I seriously love all 3 but I think I still am on Team Eleafant. Considering how much you love grass types, elephants and the color green I'm sure the final evolution will look amazing.
You’re missing the chance to use the plant “elephant ears” for your GRASS ELEPHANT lol
I had no idea I was going to like these middle evolutions so much. Absolutely amazing
Not gonna lie I was nervous just because middle starters usually look strange but these are absolutely phenomenal both stylistically and conceptually. Just really incredible work.
Oh yes!!!! A grass rock type!!!!
I really wanted another one!!!! Lileep and cradily is only rock type because it's a fossil and now we got a real one!
Mentidal didn't show psychic type
Could you give a suggestion on how to fix the design?
@@sunnydarknesstv2537 I think they meant in the Pokedex entry only the water type was included at the bottom.
@@cockroach_emporium Oh, oof
Dark type would fit my opinion
Its probably an error left by truegreen7 its still a water/psychic tho
Ok, I just loved all of them!
I bet agnite's evolution is Fire,Ground
That is too obvious. Why don't you think outside of the box?
@@matthewguru1382 Ron chose Water/Psychic because of Dolphin's intelligence. That was a pretty obvious choice too. So Ron isn't exactly 100% creative.
@@AlfieriV Yeah, I agree. He ain't too creative at all. By the way why is your reply getting highlighted? Is he not creative when it comes to highlighting comments too? xD
@@matthewguru1382 your rude
I've made my own starters. A grass emu called Quanpom, a fire starter named Hissizzle, and a water platypus named Platyplash. This has kinda helped me in finding inspiration for evolutions for my own starters
Your art is too good
None of the middle stage evolutions look awkward enough
LOL
Mentidal looks hella awkward lol. Like a middle aged man in a leotard. The other two look great though.
@@AlfieriV agree
I love that NSP was mentioned. I didn’t expect that all
Day 4 of convincing wolfy to play pokemon black and white.
Thease middle evolustions are way better looking than the official ones!
the Mustrunk line is def my fave so far, i want one... Mentidal kinda cute too omg
If Ron was a designer for Pokémon all new Pokémon would look so much cooler.
Mentidal is so dope too!! Great job on these designs!
I’m just now seeing this video. But Mustrunk’s art and description are by far the best out of your creations and my favorite fan created Pokemon. Good job man!
also i like how he gave the grass starter rock type but it kinda gives it a counter against fire which messes up the loop of water fire & grass
I like how Mustrunk loves to grow trees. If Pokémon were real maybe earth wouldn’t be dying as much.
I like how you put more thought and back story into your starters than game freak
I like how Mentidal takes the rash back to land because honestly cleaning up man made thrash from the oceans or any large body of water not to mention the micro plastics. I love Mentidal and Mustrunk probably because I am a Environmental Science college student and can help but wish they existed
Someone needs to hire you at pokemon you have good design's and good ideas been watching for yrs love the vids and thnx for the content
I usually like fire pokemon but the grass is just amazing
9:39 was that............... an Eric Andre reference?
I really like all of these designs and concepts! I was on team water starter (I forgot all the names) but now I really like the fire starter line.
The Doflow line is legit me trusting than looks down on humans than is pissed at them
Mustrunk has to be one of the coolest looking middle grass starters in the history of pokemon starters .I can’t wait how the final form will look like .
I find it ironic that the elephant line cultivates forests where in actuality, elephants are known to knock down lots of trees. In fact, if elephant populations get too large, they can eliminate entire small forest and thicket patches within the Savannah and grassland biomes
The smokalf line is one of the few fire lines I would do a playthrough, but eleafant would be my second pick
My guess for Smokalf's final typing before this video was Fire/Fairy. Now I think it'd most likely be Fire/Fighting.
What makes me think so is
1) Ron mentioned the final evolution would be standing up.
Ron: it is a little too GORY
Me:instantly searches it up
So far, I think I like the elephant line the most.
Sheesh. XD
The only one with a decent wild personality is Mustrunk? Though, I did admittedly get a chuckle out of Mentidal droping ocean trash on the land, like "I'm pretty sure this is YOURS!"
