I had used a similar methed when I was 17 , like 25 years ago (Damn where does the time go?) I used a sewing needle and thread. I wrapped the needle with thread almost to the tip, but making the thread thick around it to become like a reservoir for the ink. Sterilized it of course with flame and alcohol, dipped into my India ink, and wala I BROUGHT THE PAIN !!!!!!! I had never heard of a staple and pencil before, but ingenuity is the mother of invention. Great show keep up the vids, it's one of my fave RUclips channels. Later days Broski

What he said about the flat surface on the needle is very important. One the tattoos I got in jail is 1/4 scaring tissue because of this. Once you have scaring tissue, the ink will look different in that area hence will have to be worked into whatever you end up covering it up with.
If you dont have alcohol you can use anything you have to clean the needle with. In prison, a lot of times we would use just soap and water because sometimes thats all we had. It's not the most ideal thing to sterilize with. but as long as you use a flame to burn the tip, you should be fine. Burning tip tip of the needle is very important.

My friend group refers to it as stick'n'poke cause we take a small wooden dowl carve a spot in it put a sewing needle in it and use monofilament line to hold it in place that's the stick and then we sterilize it and use pen ink and draw a "stencil" on the spot we are putting it on and make sure to sterilize the skin too and then poke and make the tattoo
I thought that a home made non motorized machine and your previous diy tattoo ink video I did it myself and it surprisingly didn't hurt thank you for your help with this. Also its not your fault I got in trouble. My mom walked in when I was cleaning it up. Long story short at first she bought it that it was temporary but she found out when it bled and it wouldn't come off. Not ur fault at all! It was kind of mine 😂also I didn't have a lighter with me so I don't know but you know girls ear care solution well it has alcohol in it and it is numbing so I used that to sanitize the needle and I used it to numb my skin so it didn't hurt as much.
okay so I've done some machineless tattoos on myself and had others do it on me too, and I would recommend a bit more of the staple exposed, as we found that at least with proper needles you want it to ''grab'' a bit in order for the ink to stay

you can also use a mechanical pencil to hold in the staple without having to tape it (unless the lead for the pencil is really wide)
