Delightful. The side by side comparison made it easy to see what was lost, what remains and what has arrived. It also makes it clear how development at Sandy, Potton and Gamlingay make the old route untenable.
Wow! Excellent. I grew up with this line. This production is just amazing. I can’t say enough about how it takes me back in time. A great production. Absolutely well done!
A really excellent production. Yours is the only RUclips channel that uses background music that feels appropriate. All others, I either mute or switch away from, as their music is intrusive, inappropriate or too loud. Thanks for producing these interesting videos.
Cheers for the kind words Charles! I do like to dabble with the music side of things. I am looking to explore many more lines on this channel so feel free to subscribe and share any you find interesting!
Wow, wow, wow. You have put other historians to shame this is by far the best past and present historical footage error.. you have set a benchmark that others can only dream of!
Oh wow! I'm only a minute in on my first visit and I've already had to stop and comment. What a great way to do this. Unique in my experience and inspired. I'm just glad that I'm casting to the television screen and not watching on the phone on the way to work! Thank you.
Hi James. Incredible stuff ! I just can't stop watching these videos and just continue going onto the next one time after time. I am an old railway buff and love the history etc. so these hit the spot every time. The music is spot on and matches it perfectly ! Genius at work ! "Frosty".
Cheers Frosty! I try to put out a new one every few weeks or so. The challenge is finding good matchups with the station views. Feel free to share the vids with anyone you think might be interested! 🚂
I remember Toft siding with weighbridge and hut where local fruit farmers took their produce to go to market and also spring hall farm which was owned by the Todds family now all gone such is progress !

Grew up in Bedford haunting to see so much of the scenes of my life play out. I ran a few miles of this route the other day...
Absolutely stunning. Didn't skip a second. One of your absolute best. And every time, I am floored by the music. Cannot believe it's all you. BRAVO!!!

14:57 I'm transfixed following the map and all the changes and indeed all that's stayed the same as well.
But, where's the "New Hovel" gone?!
